27, 28 and 30?He’s only 25 as well. I wonder what he’ll be like in 2,3,5 years time?

Had mac gone to Chelsea and caicedo Liverpool, we'd be seeing something very different in my view
I think you’re onto something here27, 28 and 30?
I think the players around AliMac (plus the coaching) has made him even better.Bart 7 -- one amazing late save from Salah, wasn't very good for their disallowed goal, gave the ball away a few times too many but Liverpool's intensity imposed that on us
Veltman 5 -- made to look rather ordinary
JPvH 8 -- some good stuff both defensively and on the ball
Dunk 7 -- solid stuff
Pervis 5.5 -- did well enough in the circumstances, but tough job when you've got Salah and Bradley both coming at you
Baleba 8 -- tired towards the end, but immense prior to that
Gross 7 -- solid enough
Lamptey 4
Moder 8 -- managed to match their intensity, got around, broke things up
Adingra 6 -- caused serious damage early on, but Quansah soon snuffed him out
Welbeck 7 -- nice finish, kept going, caused them problems, but was too fond of the side netting after his goal
Buonanotte 6
Lallana 5
Ferguson and Barco n/a
Ali Mac 9.5 MotM -- what a player, the two touches to set up their winner were sublime. At the moment, looks like we misread things and he's a better player than Caicedo -- playing at a well-run club might have something to do with that
They seem to quite like him...His point has always been that most Reds don't rate Ali Mac.

Simple. He and his advisers (Dad?) made the right decision. Someone else's advisers (Mum?) didn't!They seem to quite like him...
Is he going to be injured in 4 years time? He’s only 25 as well. I wonder what he’ll be like in 2,3,5 years time?
Before I start, there is absolutely no shame losing to Liverpool who are a top tier side especially up top. My personal view, however, is that we gave away a shed load of chances today that could have seen us on the back end of another 6-1 on another day. Salah could have easily had a hat trick. I haven't checked - so could be talking bollox - but the XG between the 2 games probably wasn't a lot different.
I thought we were miles better in the 2-1 loss away to Man City for example and it was far too easy for Liverpool at times. After Liverpool snuffed out Adingra we offered little up top and were bullied in midfield. How I wish we still had Ali Mac and Caceido.

Yeah I am pretty surprised with the comments about how we played well, seen elsewhere people saying we deserved a draw etc. I thought we were poor tbh, and were lucky that Salah was also poor. Before I start, there is absolutely no shame losing to Liverpool who are a top tier side especially up top. The result was ok, given the injuries and team we played, but I think relief that it wasn’t a drubbing is clouding our judgement a bit!
Is it the recentism effect of an edgy last 10 minutes, being falsely converted into the entire game was a quality Albion performance worthy of a result?
Think you’re being very generous with Moder. He was okay in the first half but, understandably quickly tired in the second half. Similar to Adingra for me.Bart 7 -- one amazing late save from Salah, wasn't very good for their disallowed goal, gave the ball away a few times too many but Liverpool's intensity imposed that on us

I wish he could shoot. They usually do……wish he was 5 years younger and with us.
It was a criminal offence that Moder's ball across the 6 yard line wasn't tapped in.Think you’re being very generous with Moder. He was okay in the first half but, understandably quickly tired in the second half. Similar to Adingra for me.
Otherwise I’d swap JPvH with Dunk and would agree.
BHA MoMs - Dunk and Baleba…..
Your comment about Ali Mac., spot on. What a player!
We were truly blessed to have watched him and proud that the club were part of his career and that he is clearly very fond of us….
Exactly what we said.It was a criminal offence that Moder's ball across the 6 yard line was tapped in.
He did look gassed soon after that.
I felt RDZ was 10 mins too late with the substitutions - then they came on and he might have had a point!!!
