Kuipers - 7- some good saves and improved kicking
Reid - 7- got forward well, scored a cracker
El-Abd - 8 - scored the best of a good bunch, had a solid game
Santos - 8 - Very good in the air, better passing too
Lynch - 6- Very quiet, i don't remember him playing!
Mayo - 7 - Composed game, with even a bit of showboating towards the end
Cox - 7 - A slow start, but looked very lively after the goal, another well taken finish
Hammond - 7 - poor penalty, lacked the energy he showed in the week, but definite improvement on early season form.
Frutos - 6 - not very effective, but we look better with a wideman.
Hart - 7 - more hard working with good passing, earned the sending off.
Revell - 8 - all over the place, outstanding commitment.

Subs:
Robinson - 6- unlucky not to score
Loft - 7 (MOM) - feel on his arse twice, gave the ball away twice, scored a header - brilliant!
Fraser - no time

Are you sure? He was brilliant in the first half when he won every header and every tackle.

Don't the say the best defenders are the ones you don't see much (or something like that!)

Kuipers - 6.5- one very good first half save but armchair ride from then on

El-Abd - 7 - solid, amazing goal
Santos - 7 - Showed good leadership
Lynch - 6 - less of the sloppy passing today, did his job OK
Mayo - 7 - very composed coming forward again

Reid - 8 - fine performance
Hammond - 6 - solid work
Cox - 6.5 - probably the worst he's played this season in the first half, but back to his usual high standards in the second

Kuipers - 7 - Two good saves, some good kicking, didn't do anything wrong

El-Abd - 8 - Outstanding game, so great passing, very well taken goal on his left foot, showed great confidence.
Santos - 7 - Great in the air, some commited tackles
Lynch - 7 - Didn't really notice him so he couldn't have done much wrong.
Mayo - 6 - Lacked pace at times to deal with the winger in the second half, feared the worse when he got booked early on but calmed his game down well.

Cox
Reid 8 - Cracking goal, was unlucky not to get on score sheet just before and was even unluckier when he blasted that shot against the post. He needs to stay in midfield
Hammond (MOM) - 8 - Confiedence is back, playing the holding roll he looks a natural, needs to stay there and should remain captain till Oatway is back, he thrives on it.
Frutos - 6.5 - Some good runs but is still lacking that killer cross, never stopped trying though.

Hart - 6 - Worked hard, never really got a goal scoring chance
Revell - 6 - As Harty really, worked hard.

Subs:
Robinson - 6.5
Loft - 6
Fraser - 6

Kuipers - 6- Pleased to see he has nearly given up kicking it and now decides to play it out! Not much to do.
El-Abd - 7 - great goal.
Santos - 6 - Very good in the air, better passing too, stupid penalty to give away. I do think he tired in the 2nd half.
Lynch - 7- Did what he had to and did it well!
Mayo - 7 - One of his better games, but not put under pressure and had the left side nearly all to himself in the 1st half.
Reid - 7- A good day, well played.
Cox - 8 - He just gets better.
Hammond - 6 - Our poorest player I thought.
Frutos - 6 - not very effective but I'll let him off for only his 2nd start.
Hart - 7 - all gusto and no end product but what would we do without him?
Revell - 6 - Gave his all again, even his first touch is getting better, why does he play out wide?

Subs:
Robinson - 7- rejuvinated the team when he came on, albeit only for a short time. Set up a great goal.
Loft - 6 - needs more matches. well positioned for the goal.
Fraser - no impact too little time on the field.

Kuipers - 6 - Not a lot to do, but dealt with what he had to well.

El-Abd - 7 - Smashing goal and a solid performance.
Santos - 7 - Very committed and dominating.
Lynch - 6 - Possibly a bit harsh, but was quiet about his work.
Mayo - 6 - Actually didn't do too bad today, some positive moments.

Reid - 6 - Good goal, but was pretty quiet otherwise.
Cox - 7 - Some brilliant passing and a well-taken goal.
Hammond - 8 (MOM) - Stroked the ball around well, always playing the simple pass and some fantastic floated balls out to the right wing. Worse penalties would have gone in, so not totally at fault there.
Frutos - 6 - A bit quiet, but tried his best to impose himself on the game. Some decent first half corners not rewarded with a finish.

Hart - 7 - Ran himself into the ground as usual and caused them plenty of problems.
Revell - 7- Some very nice touches, looks a tidy player. Very willing and clearly has ability as well.

El-Abd - 8 - cracker again
Santos - 7 - solid in the centre
Lynch - 7- ditto to santos
Mayo - 6 - ok
Cox - 8 MOM- looked lively, another well taken finish
Hammond - 5 - Frank Lampard in disguise. Poor shot on goal in the first half too
Frutos - 7 - getting better, hope pressure from loft will rediscover some good form for himself and goal
Hart - 6- :legend:
Revell - 7 - all over the place, but sometimes in the wrong places as he ran everywhere

Subs:
Robinson - 7- learning
Loft - 7 - really pushing frutos hard. nice header too!
Fraser - N/A

Kuipers - 7 - Few good saves, decent distribution

El-Abd - 7 - Who saw that goal coming? Solid display.
Santos - 7 - Good in the air. Gave away a stupid penalty. Improved passing.
Lynch - 7 - Did what was required of him well, won every ball in the air and every tackle.
Mayo - 6 - Average

Reid - 7 - Good goal, could've had a second too. Generally passed the ball well.
Cox - 8 - Passed well, looked to shoot, brilliantly taken goal, sometimes seems a bit reluctant to take men on, possibly because of his size?
Hammond - 7 - Transformed. Knocked the ball around well, made tackles and got around the pitch.

Revell - 7 - Hard working and some nice play.
Frutos - 5 - Did nothing.

Hart - 7 - Worked his socks off to provide an outlet, of course he is not a goalscorer but he most certainly does a job.

Subs:
Loft - 6 - Other than the goal he was disappointing.
Robinson - 7 - Pacy and dangerous, set up a goal, but not really a winger. I would've liked to see him running at the heart of their defence, would've scared them shitless.
Fraser - No time.

Kuipers 7 - Not a lot to do. Kept his defence on their toes with his voice. Not much he could do for the penalty.

Mayo 7 - Solid. Simple passes going astray occasionally. 60-yard passes again with pinpoint accuracy
Lynch 7 - Again solid.
Santos 6 - Has the potential to be a liability, as was shown again. As Derek & Clive once said - Jump, you fucker, jump...
El-Abd 7.5 - Solid, and no he didn't score a screaming 25-yard drive with his left peg. You all imagined it. OK?

Hammond 8 - Best game for ages. Has the potential to really motor on, as we felt 18 months ago, then his game went splat. Being captain is a masterstroke.
Reid - 8 Solid again
Cox 8 - Wayward passing in the first half, brilliant in the second.
Frutos 6 - Lightweight. Added little, nearly a passenger. But he'll be back.

Revell 7.5 - Once again, ran his bollocks off. Not an out-and-out striker, but I think a bit of a find.
Hart 8 - 350 games young, and still running. Brilliant stuff from the Windupmeister.

Loft 7 - A capable replacement for Frutos. Took his goal well.
Jake 7 - Eventually set up a fine fourth goal after two faltered attemtpts.

Overall, much better against an albeit pisspoor opposition. The difference between us now and us a few weeks ago is our levels of commitment, confidence and finishing. Oh, for a 20-goal-a-season striker.

I'm surprised to see Cox given such a high rating by some people. His passing in the first part of the match was woeful. He just couldn't seem to get the right weight on the ball.

Things improved later, admittedly.
