Calderon - Another average Calderon performance - 6
El-Abd - Great nod for his goal, defended well on occasions, was worried when he passed it around the back line though - 7
Virgo - Good return to the team, solid performance - 6
Hoyte - Good in patches, questionable at times - 5

Bennett - Hard working performance always trying to look for the runs into spaces, but defence denied him well - 6
Arismendi - was very very poor considering the hype he had gained - 4
Crofts - Solid midfield performance was Captain Crofty - 6
Hendrie - Looked lightweight & underpaced occasionally, good on the ball and some good skillful play - 6
LuaLua - Again another good performance from Kaz, ran into the spaces when needed but like Bennett the full backs did well to stop him - 6

Murray - Terrible, missed 3/4 great chances to give us the lead, just looked completely lost tonight - 3.5

Navarro - Completely changed the midfield when he came on, great motivational ply - 8
Barnes - Did well and gave the Gills defence a few worries, played well to give Murray a few oppertunities - 5

I originally gave Hoyte a 6 but I then thought thats a bit complimentary, I think 5 was fair as he wasn't completely terrible, but he was averagely ok, probably the best i've seen him play for us.

Brezovan 6 - No major cock-ups. Good throw outs.

Calderon 6 - Solid. Good shot near the end. Oh hang on, no it wasn't.
Virgo 7 - Coped quite well with a fidgety bulldozer
El-Abd 8 - MoM. Didn't put a foot wrong. Played the 'Guy Butters' role superbly.
Hoyte 4 (1st half) / 6 (2nd half) - Poof / Much better

Lua Lua 5 - Just not his kind of game
Crofts 7 - Powerhouse who kept going the whole game from minutes 1-90.
Hendrie 6 - OK, but 4-5-1 doesn't seem to suit him.
Arismendi 3 - Stoke City have been conned. I hope we don't make the same mistake.
Bennett 5 - Promised a bit, delivered little. Pisspoor corner into the side netting.

Murray 5 - 8 for effort and getting into good positions. 2 for shooting (and that '2' is for the hilarity of the efforts, and distances of the misses)

Calderon - 6- Another quieter than usual performance following Saturday.

El-Abd - 8 - Thought he was absolutely fantastic.

Virgo - 6 - OK but think I still prefer Elphick.

Hoyte - 4 - Stresses me to even discuss it, get rid.

Bennett - 6 - Our best attacking player as usual, shame not many others were joining in (until Barnes when he came on).

Arismendi - 5 - Obviously adjusting to english football, lacked energy.

Crofts - 6 - Solid as usual.

Hendrie - 6 - Adds a bit of class to the midfield, him and Dicker will be a good battle for a midfield place next year.

LuaLua - 5 - Thought he was OK in the first half but very quiet in the second half, would like to see him running in behind the full back more.

Murray - 4 - Some good built up play to get in the positions to score but he's there to put them away and failed miserably last night.

I agree about the formation but I cant help but feel that you possibly gave the score based on your favourtism for certain people over others rather than the actual performance against Gillingham
