Baldock should be docked a point for trying to get Periera sent off when we were 3 nil up with 3 minutes to go and ended up getting himself a needless booking. Knockaert needs to get that awful lunge out of his game as he will make contact one day and get a straight red. Skalak looked like he was on something the way he kept charging into people. Murray and Hemed don't work unless we play two up top rather than the two up top with one dropping formation. Bong doesn't look as pacey as he was before his injury. Sidwell gave it away too often. But other than that, all good and a 3-0 win with all of those issues bodes very well. A centre half and a number 10 and we look very good with cover in all areas.

Stockdale 7
Bong 6
Rossenior 6
Dunk 8 One extra for fantastic block
Bruno 7
Sidwell 4 Very poor
Kayal 7 Always available
Knockhart 8 What an entertainer
Hemed 6 Marked up one for assist but very poor
Murrey 7 Apart from goals far harder for defender to mark then Hemed
Skalak 5 Marked up one for assist.Very poor. With Murphy andLua LUa on bench how on earth did he stay on so long
Stevens Hope he starts next game
Baldock Run he made to receive Knockharts pass for last goal would not of been made by Hemed

How can you possibly miss-spell the names of so many players in one post?

Stockdale - 7

Rosenior - 7 (linked up really well with Knochaert)
Bruno - 7.5 (special mention for how well he's adapted to CB)
Dunk - 8 (excellent display from him)
Bong - 6 (solid enough)

Knockaert - 9 MOTM
Kayal - 6.5 (a lot of wild shots went astray)
Sidwell - 6 (seemed to make the most mistakes in the middle)
Skalak - 7 (helped is score, did well!)

Hemed - 6 (got in Murray's way in the first half, blocking a good chance)
Murray - 9 (thought he had an excellent game before the goals)

Baldock - 7 (very unselfish for the assist)
Norwood - 6 (looked decent)
Stephens - 6 (Solid)

You saw the game as I did.

Thought we got away with three players having off days.

Another game of two halves, much like Tuesday. Very poor first half and we could have been two down in the first ten minutes. Second half a different story and we were excellent. Must have been another half-time bollocking from the manager!

Stockdale 6. A couple of good stops early on. At least two kicks staight into touch. Not at his best. Hope injury no too bad.
Rosenior 7. Good game.
Bruno 7. Did well considering out of position.
Dunk 8. Very good. Key player for us.
Bong 6. Still not back to his best defensively, but great cross for first goal.
Kayal 7. Poor first half, but much better second.
Sidwell 6. Nightmare first half. Much better second.
Knockhaert 8. Exciting to watch. What a star. But over-elaborated a couple of times when he should have released the ball earlier. MoM.
Skalak 6. As with Sidwell, a very poor first half, but much improved in the second. I would definitely have March start in his place when fully fit.
Hemed 6. A poor first half (not as bad as Sidwell and Skalak), but improved somewhat in the second. Not sure that playing him and Murray together works.
Murray 8. Anonymous first half, great in the second. Holds the ball up so well, great pace, scores for fun. Why oh why did we ever let him go?

Subs:
Baldock 7. Good. Maybe he should have started with Murray?
Stephens 8. Did very well in his short time on the pitch. Needs to start.
Norwood. Not on long enough to rate, but looked good.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Stockers 6 - horrible, from a distance, to see him hurt. All a bit flappy though, and stumblesome, so needs to be lean and sturdy a bit more. Good save from a low pinger from a distance though.
Rosenior 7 - I love this little speed addict and appreciator of crowds. Still has to form an attacking bond with Knocky though. Good enough show.
Bong 6 - hope we get that friendly-faced beefcake back to his pre-injury fitness and form. I suppose us outsiders don't quite know how long such a wound, after healing, still has an effect. At present he's just about reliable, but am sure wants to be more.
Bruno 8 - an astonishing player. Surprised he didn't insist on putting on Stockers' gloves, just to prove to any doubters that it might not be his best position. Got his foot in when it mattered. Only one long perfect pass. I want more of those from him. I miss them.
Dunk 8 - quality centreback. Got done a little easily in the first half, but he's so important to us for his strength and his increasing wherewithal, and his ballplay.
Sidders 6 - not at his strongest in the first half, but a great throughball behind twattyhairdivingqueen for Skalak in the second.
Kayal 7 - good motoring display, but needs to work his relationship with the ball. His long balls always come up short, and his shooting needs practice. Add those little features to his game and he'll be priceless.
Knocky 9 - just beautiful. Seeing him dance past Lansbury, the bearded nob, again and again in the second half had me shiver inside. His touch is immaculate and his lust for it all just has bow in his presence. A joy to watch.
Skalak 6 - knows what we're about and played his heart out. Not sure he's best always playing so wide. Maybe needs to cut inside more and let his walloping right foot do more business.
Murray 7 - great to see him score and celebrate so, but I want the workrate of the second half to become his usual level of ardour. First half was languid and not enough. Knows where to be to get on the end of things, and needs to put it all together.
Here's 6 - alright not much came off for him, but worked so much harder than Murray in the first half and still had his little take-downs and turns that I admire.

Stockdale 6 Not at his best, but I feel more confident with him now than I have done before. Hope he's back soon.
Rosenior 6 Class act, quality player and a very good right back. Not his best game, but did everything defensively well.
Bruno 7 Not really tested by their lump up front, but what a class act and positional sense is excellent.
Dunk 8 Top, top quality.
Bong 5 Weaklink in the team now I think, relatively solid defensively though and he did put over a lovely cross for Knockers.
Sidwell 6 Not as bad as some of the criticism, did what was needed but some sloppy moments.
Kayal 8 The King. He knifes through teams at will, carries it really well as well as drawing fouls and breaking up opponents play. Top player.
Knockaert 8 Magician. Loses a mark for the reckless lunge which could have ended in tears but he is awesome.
Skalak 6 Wasted on the left, quality player as his set pieces show, he'll show value if he gets a run on the right wing at any point.
Hemed 5 He does drop in the odd shocker, works hard, tries to get into the right area but off his game last night.
Murray 8 Won everything in the air, scored twice and proving that he is the striker we've needed since he left.

Subs
Baldock 7 Actually made a clever run for the second goal, got a shot off and harried. Standard acting like a **** with their #17 though, not needed.
Stephens 8 Class above. He's a Premier League player, keep the player and forget the money. What a player.
Norwood 6 Encouraging, but we know he's a good Championship player for playing 200 times for Reading at this level.

Hughton 8 Nailed it.

Utter bollocks, blinkered ratings because we won. We deserved to win but there were some shocking individual performances. The brilliance of Knockhaert won us that game.
