Fiveways
Sanchez 8 -- so reassuring, vindicating Potter's decision
Veltman 7
Webster 8 -- most deserving of our CBs for an England call-up (not that it'll happen)
Dunk 9 MotM -- back to his imperious best, solid, and so calm on the ball
Burn 7
March 6
White 9 -- top, top CM performance. Even better given the opposition. Broke everything up, restricted them to scraps
Gross 6 -- mixed bag
Trossard -- ditto, very creative going forward, but gives me kittens defensively
Mac Allister 8 -- great vision and technique, deserves an extended run
Maupay 7 -- seven PL goals in half a season, for all the talk of needing a striker, that's about as good as it gets for a team in the bottom half

Bissouma 8
Tau 6
Propper 8

Well, I said before the game that, if we didn't get a result with that first 11 selection, Potter would be in big trouble. It really worked. Top performance, really good game management. Imagine if we could beat Fulham too. And that goal, it was one of the best we've scored in the PL, from Solly's cute overhead, White's carrying, Mac Allister's vision, the intricacy of the interchange, and our CF peeling away for a tap-in. You could tell from the reaction at the final whistle what it meant to the players -- they're playing for the manager, and so long as that lasts (and Bloom is in), he will remain to mark his stamp on our club.

I'm still irked by GP's fascination with Gross BUT now is not the time to pick faults. Ben White was a lot more effective today and looked really up for the fight. Beautiful team goal - we (rightfully) critique the team for always trying to walk the ball into the goal, but at least we succeeded today! :lolol: :rave:

Falmer, soon...
Superb all round. Hard to fault anyone. Only criticism really is for PercyTau. It's early for him and you could see it today.
Needs to learn the defensive aspect of our forward play quickly. Didnt press and track or cut off passing lanes effectively. Also needs to hold up the ball better. Shouldnt take him long but I would use sparinglyin the centre till it has improved. Could be another AliJ or could be just the maverick element we need. Still too early to call but not his best 20 mins.

Sanchez 7 - solid, didn't have much to do but claimed a couple good crosses

Veltman 7 - got forward well, got beat a few times by Raphinha
Webster 8 - brought the ball out with defence excellently, if only he'd have played in Tau at the end
Dunk 9 - imperious
Burn 7 - much better from BDB, although did get caught overplaying which nearly cost us
March 7

White 8 - skipping past Leeds players with ease
Gross 7

MacAllister 8 - another great game, surprised he went off
Trossard 7 - good game, involved in the goal
Maupay 7 - our best striker

Bissouma 7
Tau 6
Propper n/a

Sanchez- 7 - had f... all to do
Veltman- 8 - best game for the club? We look better defensively with him rather than Lamptey
Dunk- 9 - MOTM. Absolutely flawless
Webster - 9 - we call him Webdini in our half and Webdihnio in there’s
Burn - 7 - solid
March- 7 - very good again. Rightfully taken off set pieces
White- 8 - very pleased for him after all the shenanigans over the summer
Gross- 7 - kept it simple. Unsung hero
Macalister- 8 - what a few days he’s had. When teams give him space he’ll hurt them
Trossard- 6 - linked well with Mac. Should have hit the target with that chance
Maupay- 6 - a couple of odd decisions but clever positioning for the goal

Bissomuma- 6 - amazed he didn’t start but Potter got it right
Propper- 6 - flair hair
Tau - 5 - Dreadful! As bad as Trossard last Sunday

Potter 10 - had a tough but positive week. Delighted for him. Outperformed the most overrated manager in history
