Henderson 8 - didn't actually have a great deal to do but made smart save from hughes. parried macken's shot which led to morrison's disallowed goal that nearly broke our hearts
Hart 8 - battled brilliantly and marked his man out of the game
McShane - 9 leapt like a salmon for the goal and defended superbly once again. we really are on the way up if we can persuade him to stay
Butters - 8 very steady and cleared what little danger there was well
Reid - 8 surprised me tonight. looked shit on saturday but his control and passing was effortless. nearly scored a solo effort if not for a saving challenge
Carole - 9 his superb control of passes and his pace caused real trouble for palace
Oatway - 9 titanic performance from captain fantastic. battled for everything and looked even better than his best last year. brilliant
Carpenter - 7 only on for 20 minutes but did well. after oatway's performance, if he is out for sheff wed we will not have to think twice about replacing him
Hammond - 7 tried hard but was a bit hopeful at times. will be back to the player we know soon enough
Robinson - 8 you could tell he was really up for the game and coped well with the aerial presence of their defenders. ran his heart out
Knight - 7 played well but not his best. missed a good chance in the first half but then nearly scored a great goal. bottled tackles on a few occassions

subs:
Frutos - 8 really impressed me tonight. looked a very solid player, was very committed and you can tell the norwich goal wasn't just a flash in the pan. he really does have a shot on him!
CKR - 7 not on for a great deal of time but looked energitic. understandably tried to slow things down after we had scored and it was getting late
El-Abd - 6 only came on for last minute but remember him winning a terrific tackle in midfield to break up one of their moves

Mcghee - 9 kept faith with wingers and strikers but the players made his job easy.

FANS - 10:clap2: :clap2:

No one recalls robinsons great chance then? not really shocked

Yes - and it's immortalised for all time in Andy Naylor's report, so calm down.

I know Oatway didn't score yesterday but he had such a great game that I reckon you still owe me a blowie.

Henderson 7 - was busier picking up litter than anything else but a couple of fine saves
Hart 8 - excellent
Butters 7 - solid
McShane - 10 MOM fantastic all round performance
Reid 8 - fantastic going forward as well as in defence
Carole 6 - not his greatest game but did ok
Chippy 7 - played well until he went off
Charlie 8 - credit to him, he ran the midfield and was up for it
Hammond 7 - looked more comfortable in the centre when switched
Knight 7 - couple of missed chances
Robinson 9 - ran them ragged and chased everything until he ran out of steam

Subs:

Frutos 8 - gave us much better balance on the left
El Abd - looked solid enough for the short while he was on.
