Kuipers - 7 - didn't really have much to do, really passionate at the end and nearly headbutted a steward :clap2:
Whing - 6 - not sure why he started left-back, looked good going forward down the right in the second-half
Elphick - 6 - a few mistakes, but played pretty well
El-Abd - 7 - looked to boss the defence about, played pretty well
Fogden - 6 - very unfortunate to be taken off
Martot - 4 - can't remember him doing anything
Hammond - stupid
Fraser - 5 - too many wayward passes, didn't look comfortable
Cox - 6 - rather quiet today, set-piece delivery pretty good though
Revell - 8 - always chasing the ball, unfortunate nobody could be in the box when he played it across - MOM
Forster - 7 - always chasing the ball, deserved a goal, good captain aswell

Mayo - 5 - now we know why Mayo hasn't played in a long time, his crosses were just awful, although he did make a fool of Lee Hughes :tosser:
Hart - 5 - ineffectual, hardly touched the ball
Elder - 7 - didn't see the goal, but everyone went mental :)

Albion fans - 7 - only really a group of 25 of us signing really
Referee - 2 - very poor decisions

Spot on. My mate mentioned Martot in about the 80th minute and my honest reaction was "Have we brought on Martot?".

Agree with most of your other assessments too. Although I though Gary Hart did OK, made a nuisance of himself and made a couple of things happen.

Your probably the people that don't notice the less 'attractive' things like tracking back, positioning etc. So its no wonder you say this every game.

Well I saw Martot and he played pretty well, as did all of them - Kerry had two bad crosses both in the same move, apart from that he played ok - about 300 of us and most of us were singing - did not realise that we had a large deaf support - but 20 signing good effort!

Whoops :dunce:

Well actually only about 25/30 of us were singing at the back so most of the others must of been deaf

To be honest I'm sure most of us did some signing at that poxy ref a few times during the match like this :tosser:

Thought most people were singing throughout the match, we were pretty loud considering the numbers

We started off the majority singing, but after 25 mins we just went quiet. That is unless I started my chants off the "referee's a wanker" or the Lee Hughes chants.

EDIT: Although we did all go mental at the end :)

Sorry, 4. I hadnt noticed the extremely informative thread about a player who didnt travel, repeating what someone else had already posted 8 hours previously.

Just for the record, you'll all have to ignore Withdean Wanderer's assessments of Martot's performance in this or any other game, since it was proved beyond any doubt whatsoever in the chat room on Saturday that Mr. Wanderer is simply anti-French (didn't like Bertin or Frutos, doesn't like Martot) and therefore is incapable of offering unbiased opinion on players of that nationality.

;)
