Maenpaa 7 Competent with a couple of decent saves.
Hunt 7 Some good moments and has great potential
Goldson 6 Looked like it was, lacking match practice
Hunemier 7.5 Very impressed and staked a good claim to replace Dunk at PNE.
Adekugbe 7 Defended well and attacked hen he could
March 7 Some good moments but lacked 100% concentration.
Sidwell 7 He did the job as usual.
Kayal 7 Valuable game time that he needs and it showed
Murphy 6 If not for his name on the team sheet on the big screen wouldnt have realised he was playing.
Towell 7 Showed great promise and some nice touches.
Hemed 6 Although he scored he let himself down and should have got a hattrick

Maenpaa 7 - did nothing wrong and looked alert, distribution ok but not a patch on Stockers

Hunt 7 - did ok up against a player 50% bigger. Fabulous first touch.
Adekugbe 7 - pacy and strong, potential good
Goldson 6 - did alright but a bit slow, lacked any urgency
Uwe 7.5 - thought he was excellent, would play him against Preston

March 6 - no real influence, disappointing
Murphy 6 - see March
Sidwell 6.5 - solid enough
Kayal 8 - wow, my MOM, showed how good he is. For a first game back in several months he was immense. Scored early on, and fabulous turn and run for the second goal too. Tackled like a demon.

Towell 7 - massive engine, never stopped running. Some nice flicks and passes. Decent performance I thought
Hemed 6.5 - will be disappointed with that. Scored, but missed a sitter too.

Ince - 6 - didn't have a lot to do but didn't **** up either

I was very impressed by Maenpaa.. The ball stuck to him like glue and really deserves to be playing every week somewhere. We must be paying him good money. Uwe did play better than Goldson who was a little casual. I was expecting much better from Solly who was not at his best today. Towell played ok and I feel he has a lot more to offer. Adekugbe ran forward with pace and then stopped and passed back most times. Overall I enjoyed the game.

Maenpaa - 7 - very solid, good save at the end at the striker's feet

Adekube - 6.5 - looked lively down the left, often overlapping Murphy. Quality of the final ball not always there.
BFG - 7 - good to see him back. A comfortable afternoon, but he looked good
Goldson - 7 - again, not really tested much by MK, but looked classy on the ball - we have an embarrassment of riches at centre half
Hunt - 6 - bit of a mixed bag with one or two great moments but some errors too

March - 5 - looked disinterested, lacked any real urgency on the ball
Kayal - 7.5 - composed, good on the ball, nice goal - welcome back Beram
Sidwell - 6.5 - started slowly but grew into the game - loss off pace sometimes apparent
Murphy - 6 - a bit peripheral

Hemed - 7.5 - good game and goal, but what a terrible miss - Hughton was shaking his head in disbelief on the touch line
Towell - 7.5 - lots of energy and a few touches of brilliance - deserves the chance to show what he can do in the championship

Nice professional routine performance. Mentions I'd make -

Solly: Left side looked quite weak. Didn't give enough cover, gave away silly free kicks in decent positions that better opposition could have punished us from.
Towell: As others have said, good engine. Really was box to box, wanting to take the ball from the CBs, and offering a link with Hemed.
Maenpaa: What a great backup keeper. Could easily be our first choice. Did his job well, the ball stuck to him when called into action, and fast off his line.
Sidwell: Quiet game, but always looked a level above on the ball.
Ince: Game passed him by when he came on. A shame as looked a great talent when he first hit the scene.

Maënpaä wasn't massively tested, but I thought what he did do was excellent. Came for crosses, claimed them competently, and saved what little MK Dons actually managed to get on target with ease.

It's great to think we have such a confident and skilled man ready to step in should anything happen to Stockdale. In some respects, I think it's a shame that Niki doesn't get much of a chance, but such is the life of a goalkeeper, and he seems happy here.
