Ryan -6- dont think had any chance with any of the goals
Bruno -6- tried his best to get forward
Dunk -7- one player who made a challenge
Duffy -5- one of his poorer games
Bong -8- MOTM- Yes MOTM - thought he actually defended really well today
Knockaert -6- needs a couple of goals to get his confidence up
Sideways Stephens -1- slows the game up every time , never got stuck in and this showed when didn't tackle Coutinho towards the end . Give kayal a game.
Pröpper - 2 - anonymous
Brown -7- created more than any other player
Gross -6- quiet by his standards , left Murray isolated
Murray -7- got in good positions and movement reakly good. Put a shift in for the team

March -5- anonymous
Izqueirdo -6- created a decent chance for himself
Scheletto -5- conceded 2 from his side with him on , offered nothing going forward

Ryan 7. Not much he could do about any of the goals
Bruno 6. Some good some bad
Duffy 7. Looked good in patches
Dunk 6. Forget the own goal but gave the ball away a lot today
Bong 8 one of the few positives from today
Stephens 6 workmanlike performance but as on Tuesday too many stray passes
Propper 6 ditto
Brown 7 had good spell in second half and linked play well
AK 7 looks to be growing with confidence
Gross 6 unusually quiet from him today
Murray 6. Needs to be more clinical at this level

Ryan no chance really 5
Bruno age and too many games caught up with him. He should have been off 15 mins earlier 3
Duffy and Dunk 5 Not their best performances
Bong 8 our best player today
Stephens and Propper 5 tried but out classed today
Knocking 5 still not quite back to where he can be
Brown 7 linked well with Bong. His best game for us so far
Murray 7 not his day . Sometimes they go in and sometimes they don’t
Subs. Not really on long enough but Izzy also might of scored.

Overall Liverpool flattered by score but best example of “ you have to Take your chances”
Move on . We are still better than at least 8 other teams

Ryan - Not a lot to do apart from pick the ball out of the net 6
Bruno - that relationship with AK does not den particularly productive at the moment 5
Duffy - I wonder if he is feeling the affect of the World Cup disappointment 5
Dunk - played well today against the best strike force we have faced - painful og 6.5
Bong - another really good game 6.5
Propper and Stephens overwhelmed in midfield today 6
Brown - MOM the only player who created chances 7
AK - he has been so frustrating this season for me 6
Gross - Nor his usual influential self, pretty anonymous 6
Murray worked really hard but felt he squandered 2 golden opportunities 6
Subs Izquierdo had a moment
Schelleto a concern
March - Nothing much
Hughton - will need to regroup, rebuild and think ahead to the window as there is a lack of depth in the squad, we need a couple of attacking options
Crowd - brilliant
Ref - OK. but gave us the softest penalty ever!

Liverpool outstandingly the best team we have played for many a year!

Yes, Liverpool are a great team, but we have shown against Arsenal and Man U that we can hold our own against a top six team and not get humiliated. Today however we decided to pass the ball to the opposition all over the pitch and just about every player was equally guilty. Dale Stephens had a shocking game, first half in particular, passing to Liverpool players just about every time he had the ball. He improved slightly in the second half, but still gave the ball away regularly. Just hope we don't need any points from the last game of the season (Liverpool away) in order to avoid relegation.

Ryan 6. Didn't look to me as though he could have done anything about the goals. Didn't have a lot else to do apart from picking the ball out of the net.
Bruno 4. Not impressed today.
Duffy 5. Way off his best.
Dunk 5. Ditto.
Bong 6. The best of our defenders, but that's not saying a lot.
Stephens 3. Awful. How the sponsor's gave him MoM is beyond me.
Propper 5. Poor performance.
Knockaert 6. Some good stuff, but spoiled by the number of times he gave the ball away.
Brown 7. MoM. Provided a real spark, particularly in the second half. Looked like our main attacking threat so no idea why he was subbed.
Gross 5. Way below his best.
Murray 6. In spite of his failure to score from two or three decent chances, I thought he worked hard and did well holding the ball up.

Subs:
Izquierdo 7. Looked dangerous. Should have come on earlier, but not for Brown.
March 5. Looked like he hardly touched the ball.
Schelotto 6. Looked OK.

Message to Chris: Please instruct your players to pass to their own team-mates. Passing to our opponents is never going to win games.

Ryan - 5 distribution was excellent at times, need to see replays if he could have done better with the goals

Bong - 6.5 My MOTM, I thought he was excellent compared to the rest. Has it start ahead of Suttner when fit.
Dunk - 6 Looked good in possession, made runs forward, marked down with late own goal
Duffy - 5 Like all of our players, made to look average from a quality side
Bruno - 4 Looked good going forward, not so much defending

Brown - 5.5 Good control, won a lot of flick-on headers, needs confidence and game time
Stephens - 3 Too slow on the ball, destroyed momentum going forward, outclassed
Propper - 4 Poor sod, had a tough time verses quality players
Knockaert - 5 okay going forward at times and worked hard, but lacked pace I thought
Gross - 4 Not as creative as usual, a good ball in from 1 freekick his best moment

Murray - 6 Worked really hard, but missed excellent chances at 0-0, 3-0 & 3-1. Nice penalty.

Substitutions
All 4. Not enough time, but none sparked me with confidence they'll be any better than what we had on the pitch already.

This for me, although I’d have Brown at a 6 as I think he did enough positive to balance out the negatives.

Ryan 6 No chance with any of the goals
Brruno 6 Not one of his best games
Duffy 6 Solid but caught out for the 1st goal.
Dunk as per Duffy but not sure who should have been marking Can.
Bong 7 Best of the defenders.
Knockhaert 5 Non existant most of the time
Propper 7 Put in a decent shift
Stephens 8 By far our MOM very good but with the odd stray pass.
Brown 6 Quiet 1st half but improved in the 2nd
Gross 5 Probably his least effective game for us.
Murray 6 Tried but had no support.

Subs

March, Iziquierdo Schelotto all 5 offered nothing when they came on and made no difference.

As a team we were outclassed and totally outplayed as most expected we would be.

Ryan 5 - really not sure he was at fault for any of the goals
Bruno 5
Duffy 5 - think he was held down for the first goal, but below par
Dunk 6.5 - tried his guts out, made some good blocks and runs forward. One superb crossfield pass
Bong 6
Knockaert 7 - worked hard but didn’t create much
Stephens 4 - overwhelmed, gave the ball away far too much
Propper 5 - slightly better than DS but not much
Brown 7 - excellent in the 2nd half, our best outlet
Gross 5 - worked hard as usual but was way too deep
Murray 4 - failed to take his chances, seems fitter than he’s ever been though, tireless running

Izquierdo 6 - one superb run. Rest of the team/CH haven’t worked out how to use him yet though
March 4 - ineffective
Schelotto n/a

Ryan 6 - Can only rate on his distribution as he had no chance with any of them.
Bruno 5 - Misplaced passes, should have put his foot through the ball when pressed on a few occasions, tried to be clever and lost it.
Duffy 4 - Can't bring myself to watch highlights, too raw. Think he was at fault for the first which was criminal.
Dunk 6 - Hard to fault either CB for the subsequent 4 conceded.
Bong 7(MotM) - Another good game, very little danger coming down his side.
Knockaert 7 - Put in a shift.
Stephens 5 - Outclassed unfortunately, not sure how anyone can say he was worse than his midfield partner though.
Propper 4 - Utterly anonymous besides repeated handing over of possession.
Brown 7 - Great game, promising if Gross is tired.
Gross 4 - Anonymous, needs a rest.
Murray 4 - Just can't miss those.

I'm glad Bong's getting some love.

The grief he was getting from the ESL (I know amazing isn't it) for misplaced passes in their half, was deafening.

He didn't put a foot wrong defensively, when you consider he was marking Salah out of the game while coaching Brown, it was quite a remarkable display.

Ryan. 5. He probably had no chance with any of the goals , but no way I'm going to give the keper 6 after a 5 goal humping
Bruno. 5 the high pressing re Ally neutralises him today. Ok defensively but as above naytho g higher than 5 would be ludicrous
Duffy 5 just not really there today
Dunk 5. Not up to his standard
Bong 6.5. Best of the back 4
Knockaert 6. Some good some bad - regularly had a swarm of red around him tbf
Stephens 4.5 poor
Proper 4 poorer
Brown 7 MOTM really good. Surprisingly good actually.
Gross 5. Not great today
Murray.5.5. If only Glenn, if only.

Izquierdo.6 looked useful When given the chance to run at them
March. 5 not involved
Schelletto 4.5. That was really our best option?

CH. 5. Poor substitutions had a negative impact.

We played the wrong set up, Brown should not have started should have been March, that said Brown created 5 good chances. Personally I would have had a faster front 2 Brown & Izquierdo and then a defensive 8 ...

6 - average.

Ryan 5
Bruno 6 - not sure why people say he looked bad or tired had an ok game
Duffy 6 - has had better games
Dunk 7 tries too hard hence the own goals. he is a class player
Bong 5.5 ws my MOTM until I watched the repays his defending (positioning) was poor
Knockaert 6 - workrate good but little postive
Stephens 4 - poor
Propper 4- poor
Brown 7 started in wrong position for me but created 4 or 5 chances
Gross 4
Murray 6- two misses but did work really hard

Izquierdo 6 looked ok when he came
March 5 not in it really
Schelleto really not sure abouthim
Schelotto n/a
