What's all this praise of Ankergren? Yes, he made some good saves, but some of his kicking was atrocious.

Ankergren 6 (and I'm being generous)

Calderon 7

Greer 7. Good defending, but poor distribution

Elphick 8 MOM. Superb defending.

Painter 7

Bennett 6. A poor game by his standards.

Dicker 4. Passing and distribution was awful.

Bridcutt 4. Same as Dicker plus, too many times he failed to win the ball in tackles

Noone 7. Good game.

Sandaza 6. Marginally better than Saturday. Did provide the assist for the goal.

Murray 8. Another good game in difficult conditions.

Subs:
Kish 9. The man oozes class. Showed the midfield how to play football on that surface.
Sparrow 6. Didn't see much from him.
Wood 8. Did very well in his short time on the pitch.

So the reason for our hoof-ball game was a poor pitch? Well, I hope we do not encounter too many more as we clearly do not do the long ball game very well. Maybe we have forgotten how? The distribution from the back was truly awful. The midfield, Bridcutt and Dicker in particular, obviously cannot play on that kind of surface. Should have started Kish. He showed how it should be done when he came on.

Then you are an idiot, and are truely clueless about what you see.

Althiough that said, I agree with most of your other rating, all I can put it down to, is you asre one of those who still wont accept Kuipers is no longer here. Ankergren was MOM last night. His kicking was good for the most part, a couple put into touch in the second half, but that tends to happen if you aim for the wings. Maybe he should just go safe and hump it down the center a?

Ankergen was brilliant, definitely MOM. Apart from him, I thought Elphick was superb, didn't put a foot wrong all game. Murray was good as usual. Apart from that, I'd say that everyone did well enough without excelling too much, apart from maybe Dicker who had a poor game today. From what I've seen of him, He seems to either be absolutely brilliant, or terrible.

I thought, from the subs, Sparrow and Kish were solid, and Wood did very well, looked energetic and had we been pushing forward more, I think he would've caused their defense a lot of problems.

Couldn't have put it better meself.
