Ryan - 6 - not much to do but did things well today.

Bruno - 4 - Very shaky indeed, time could be up soon?
Dunk - 7 - Commading
Duffy - 7 - As Dunk
Suttner - 4 - Totally ripped apart in the short time Amrabat was on, no pace, worrying

Stephens - 5 - Not his best today
Propper - 5 - Not as bad as people make out but a couple of errors
Gross - 6 - Marginally the best of the central 3, puts himself about well
March - 6 - Pretty average really, nothing to write home about
Knockaert - 6 - Made a big difference early doors but seemed to fade after the red card for them

Hemed - 5 - Worked hard as always, just lacks the ability to score at this level and I can't see that changing

Rosenior - 5 - Better than Bruno on the day and can only get better with fitness
Izquierdo - 6 - Bright little cameo, could have some decent potential
Murphy - N/A - Not on long enough.
Nothing more to say that you obviously were not at the match today

Propper a 3!! It's all about opinions but I just can't fathom how anyone who watched that today could possibly give him that low a score.

People who have decided a player's rating before the game begins.

I admit to being as guilty of it as anyone else in some cases, but it's still a fair criticism of others!

Ryan - 6: No saves to make. Claimed a couple of crosses. Decent distribution.
Bruno - 6: Touch was on point but passing was not. Booked and subbed at h/t.
Suttner - 6: Beaten twice in first half from weak challenges. Better in second half and got forward well.
Dunk - 8 MOTM: Rolls Royce performance on the pitch. Excellent long passes. Handled Gray well.
Duffy - 7: Big Shane just loves heading the ball. Complements Dunk's work and positioning.
Knockeart - 8: Full on running all game. Unlucky with shot that hit the post. How did he play on from that challenge?
Stephens - 6: Still looks a bit slow and unfit. Needs to be quicker on the ball.
Propper - 7: Better on the ball. Got forward, needs to be confident to take on shot.
March - 7: Full of running. Tracked back, especially in 80 mins to deny Richarlson. Needs to work on end product.
Gross - 5: Wasteful with the ball. Needs to be more physical. Not helping/supporting the striker.
Hemed: 6: Battled and ran all game. If only he could finish.

Subs:
Rosenior - 6: Steady performance. Got forward, looked a bit rusty.
Izquierdo - 6: Should have come on a lot earlier for Gross. Looks exciting and QUICK.
Murphy - N\A

Woodwork - 8: Saved Watford
Propper a 7.... rubbish.... a couple of times he was in a great position to place a serious thru' ball but messed it up. He's a Dutch Harley

On the Border
Ryan 7 - Caught well, dealt with all he had to do which wasn't much
Bruno 5 - Passing not up to his usual standard
Suttner 6 - Did well going forward
Duffy 7 - Usual tower of strength
Dunk 8 - A good game, and distribution improving
Propper 7 - Looks to keep the ball moving, starting to grow into team
Stephens 7 - Almost back to his best
Knockaert 7 - Good to see him back in the starting line up, adds pace .
March 7 - The step up hasn't fazed him, can still go past defenders with ease, shooting a bit off
Gross 6 - Still to get to grips with the physical aspects of the PL but settling in
Hemed 7 - Unlucky not to score

Rosenoir 5 - Lack of game time showed
Izquierdo 7 - Looked class in his short time on the pitch looks smooth with the ball, has a decent shot and tracked back. Could be giving Knockaert some issues as the fans favourite
Murphy - Not on long enough to score

After 11 hours of travelling I'm too knackered to think it through but:

Below par: Stephens, Bruno, Rosenoir, Gross, Hemed
Above par: Knockaert, March, Dunk (MOM)
The rest par or thereabouts
No rating for Murphy or the new bloke whose name isn't Izzy

Looking forward to seeing Stephens perfectly weighted pass out to Knockaert which resulted in the sending off.

I thought it was Stephens best game for us so far. Surprised he's been marked quite low by a fair few. He showed a lot more of his playmaker abilities today. Out of all our centre-mids, Stephens is still our best player.

Really don't get the low ratings... Stephens gave away fouls, mostly due to dodgy ref and Propper had a bad last 10 mins but overall, they were so much better than they were in the previous 2 games. Suttner didn't start well but ended up doing a solid job.

Everyone did their bit today but we just couldn't score that goal.

Ryan 6 - Caught a few balls but nothing to do otherwise.

Bruno 6 - Good for Hughton to sub him off at ht having been booked and given a warning afterwards. Even if Naylor says it was due to back injury.
Duffy 8
Dunk 8 MOTM - We really do have a top defensive pairing
Suttner 6 - as above

Knockaert 7 - We look so much better attacking with him in the side even if he does go a bit too primadonna sometimes.
Stephens 7
Propper 7
March 6.5

Groß 7 - Personally I thought he did quite well today especially linking up with Knockaert.

Hemed 6.5 - Please don't sell him. I do think his effort could pay off eventually and he could be pivotal to us this season.

Rosenior 6
Izquierdo 7 - If his cameo is anything to go by, he could end up being a very very very good player. Not sure why we didn't bring him on sooner.
Murphy N/A

Ryan - 7. Solid today, good to see a clean sheet.
Bruno - 4 Not at his best and wise of CH to sub him at HT (injury or not).
Dunk - 8 MoTM and another commanding performance.
Duffy - 7 Good game, just shaded by Dunk.
Suttner - 5. Too easily skinned for pace, and not for the first time. A concern.
Stephens - 6. Ok but still a tendency to pass sideways or backwards.
Propper - 6. Same as Stephens. Neither of them seem willing to look for a forward pass. Maybe because there aren't many incisive movements in central channels so they know the ball needs to moved out wide. We need a more dynamic, mobile no.10 making runs to give our CMs some better options.
Gross - 5 Disappointing. A good technical player but seems one paced and is too easily knocked off the ball.
March - 7 Mostly good. A couple of lovely moves where he just ghosted past two defenders. Solly is one of our few attacking players to give the opposition something to think about.
Hemed - 6 Thought he tried harder today, was unlucky but still too isolated.
Knockaert - 8. After a petulant game against Barnet was relieved to see him looking more himself. Asked questions of their defence and smacked a nice curling shot against the post. Damned lucky 'that tackle' wasn't a leg breaker. Didn't deserve the abuse he got from the home fans.

Rosenior - 6 A steady job covering for Bruno.
Murphy - 5 The usual mixed bag, some good work but frustrating too.
Izquierdo - 8 A brief cameo. Pity CH didn't bring him on 10 minutes earlier. However he showed enough to suggest he will have a real impact. A nice shot that fizzed just over their bar. Ironically his best moment was to save Suttner's blushes in defence by giving him and the Watford wide player a few yards head start but overtaking them both before putting in a well timed sliding tackle.

A point when it could / should have been three. A clean sheet, hit the post twice and one, if not two, penalty shouts. Signs of positive progress. Still need that pacy no. 10 to really mix up our attacking options.

He simmers on the backburner of the scapegoat list. It's a fall back option assuming the usual suspects have good games. Wonder if the FORWARDS STEPHENS gang will resurface for WBA.

Love the way he has been rated down for fouls again, two of which he absolutely needed to make and at least one that wasn't even a foul.

Another defence splitter today that like you said, resulted in the red. He's doing ok, he will adapt no doubt about that.

Completely baffled by the negativity towards Pröpper... Apart from a couple of mistakes he was brilliant today, always turning into space and spraying pinpoint passes, and crucially always looking to go forward.

Which was the antithesis of Stephens, who still hasn't found his feet in the PL yet. I have no doubt he'll grow into it, but at the moment he still looks suspect in possession and isn't quite up to speed with the game..

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Ryan - 6, nothing to do really, kicking solid
Bruno - 5, had a bit of a rough time, correct decision to sub him for fear of red card
Dunk - 7, very solid indeed, some good charges forward in the second half
Duffy - 7, strong as an ox, with Dunk had Gray in his pocket all day
Suttner - 6, did okay, exposed a bit for lack of pace but never to a serious extent
Propper - 3, extremely poor again, probably his worst so far. Bloke reminds me of Ryan Harley (this is not a good thing)
Stephens - 5, languid, a bit slow - not great today. Needs to up the tempo considerably
March - 6, some excellent crosses and corners, tracked back well, just nothing clinical
Knockhaert - 6, clearly got under their skin, worked hard as usual, just one of those "arms in the air" days he often has away from home. Shocking tackle on him
Gross - 4, ran hard again but still no sign of him creating anything (he created the most chances in all of Bundesliga last season), needs to toughen up as well
Hemed - 5, real doubts about his goal scoring credentials in the PL. Some nice touches as ever, but looks isolated too often.

Subs:

Rosenior - 6, solid, not a lot to add. PL quality and experience
Izquierdo - 7, looked a real bright spark. Excellent effort from 25 yards just wide, added an urgency and energy to our play. Some excellent tracking back to rescue Suttner. Looks sharp, must start next game.

I only watched MOTD, but Hemed came really close hitting the post, when Izquierdo makes a excellent effort, which was miles out.
A little biased perhaps?

Did you actually go? These ratings are incredibly harsh.

Unsentimental SSN giving Bruno a 5, their lowest score for an Albion player today.

Strange how he gets one high rating.

Not really (Bruno) I thought he was a little unfortunate to see yellow and was walking on eggshells after that. Worth a 6 from me. The rest I will go with Trigger's assessment. Duffy was in Propper's ear all second half

You're the odd one out, unable to see a RB having a mare. Trip to specsavers beckons for you.

Erm no I'm not. You weren't there. You might need to get up off the couch to give some real views.

Bruno was fine and him in the side brings out the best of knockaert who was outstanding with Bruno and went into hiding with rosenoir on the pitch.

Ryan 7 - Calm and collected well, very good distribution.
Bruno 5 - Off game, couldn't seem to manage a simple 5 yard pass.
Suttner 6 - Unconvinced defensively.
Duffy 7 - Won most of what was thrown at him.
Dunk 9 - Indomitable, loved his run. The outrageous 70 yard driven diagonals have to stop or we'll lose him in January.
Propper 6 - Growing into this league, slowly. Signs of encouragement amongst errors.
Stephens 6 - As above but put himself about better.
Knockaert 7 - Massively encouraging to see him fully fit again and will give PL fullbacks a torrid time just as easily as he did Championship ones.
March 7 - Doesn't look out of place in this league. The one time he could have been considered wasteful he should have had a corner for in the first half, surprised his teamates and fans didn't appeal.
Gross 6 - Tidy player, just not finding his feet yet. Dispossessed them a couple of times in dangerous positions but Hemed far too static.
Hemed 6 - Hit the post with his most difficult chance, should have put one away from corner in 2nd.

Rosenoir 5 - Continued on from Tuesday, looks totally out of match practice.
Izquierdo 7 - Absolute scenes if that shot had gone in. Loved the tracking back to get his fullback out of jail. He's rapid.
Murphy 4 - Would not normally rate someone on the pitch for so little, but the most frustrating moment of the whole game for me was Murphy running the ball into a defenders leg in injury time with so many options open to him and likely our last attack of the game, which in turn sprung a Watford counter that Stephens was force to concede a foul to stop. It brought back memories of Leicester's opener, he needs better decision making at this level.

Far more positives than negatives. Encouraged.

This.
But i would say hemed played out of his skin today but hes not the level we need and gross was just very poor.
