Probably all a 6, a couple maybe a 7 (think Ryan made a good save potentially an 8 for that?).

Did what was needed, not much more.

Ryan 7 great game, superb save towards the end
Schelotto 6 put in a shift but a bit like a firework, never which way he is going to go
Webster 6 was OK but seems to lose concentration
Duffy 6.5 adapting to Potter’s style
Dunk 7 needed to be on his game today against a big physical team
Burn 6.5 my favourite player this year has some sublime touches, is aggressive going forward and had his work cut out today
Propper 6 missed Stephens today, again those lapses of concentration could have cost us today
Bissouma 6.5 Thought GP would substitute him after about 7 minutes but he grew into the game, very exciting when he runs at defenses and could be a sublime player in a year or 2
Mooy 6 he worked bloody hard today but he is not a naturally defensive player, not back to the form prior to his injury yet, great ball for the goal
Murray 6 feel slightly generous as he was lost for most of the game but put in some defensive duties
Maupay 8 our best signing this year, confident, aggressive and can score

Fans 10 absolutely brilliant, sang the whole game

Potter 7 unpredictable line up but certainly needed a physical element today

Opposition they deserve all the plaudits they get, they must be the fittest team in the league, with some excellent players Fleck, Stevens, Baldock were excellent and MacBurnie is a monster but not a natural goal scorer like Maupay. Overall it was a backs against the wall performance and we came out with a point which could prove very valuable and I don’t think we will face a tougher team physically then the Blades.

Everyone gets a 10 for effort.
Away fans also get a 10.

Here is my list from worst to best:

Murray
Mooy
Schelotto
Burn
Webster
Propper
Duffy
Bissouma
Ryan
Dunk
Maupay

Our only ineffective players today were Murray and Mooy. Hope Mooy gets back to his pre-injury level soon but Murray i am afraid is not gonna get any better...

Potter gets a 10 for mentally preparing the boys for a fight and for forgetting about balloon-gate.

I wasn't there, but I listened to SCR. On that basis, some of the posters on this thread seem to have seriously underrated the performance and indeed a player or two. We were playing away to a side in the top six. They aren't on 39 points near the end of February without good reason. Back to SCR, Warren was very impressed by Murray. 'Only touched the ball about 5 times, but put in a real shift for the team'. Chris Wilder in his post match interview said his team was outstanding against a possession based Brighton side who put in their big boys today. If his team was outstanding, that says a lot for our performance.

It’s about results now. Excellent point. 8/10. It was always going to be a battle. Not pretty. Good team choice by Potter.

My thoughts exactly, I'd always want to see a disco Stu silky skills line up, but when you have to face up with agricultural types, needs must. pottinker just about got it right, and we took something positive form a difficult away game.

First half all 4’s except Maupay and Ryan.

Second half all 7s apart from Duffy who got an 8 for me. Heading everything away.

Horrible game of football to watch and still heading back from the game now. Feel like we stole a point. But will happily take it.

The amount of crosses sheffield united got in compared to us was crazy.

Perhaps hard to give players a fair rating from watching on TV

Its hard from anywhere and it got pros and cons watching TV/live. On one hand you often have a better angle if you watch games on tv, but on the other hand a lot of off-ball stuff is easier to see if you are there. But in the end football knowledge matters the most when it comes to giving "fair" ratings (though it is of course always very subjective).

Decent summary, but maybe a bit harsh on Potter based on those marks. Picked a big, physical team to nullify SU (at risk of annoying the boo-boys, Stephens was made for this kind of game) and tweaked the formation after 25 mins when it wasn’t quite clicking, after which we looked a lot better.

Ryan 8 MotM -- some great saves, might have done a little better with their goal, but it was some strike
Schelotto 6
Webster 7 -- not only an assist, but did a lot of things right defensively (not that it will be acknowledged by most on here)
Duffy 7
Dunk 7
Burn 5
Bissouma 7 -- started poorly but really grew into the game, and was disciplined despite being on a yellow after about 10 minutes; we need to see more responsibility and consistency from him, because he's a talented player and, if he can improve his understanding of the game and the role, he'll start to star
Propper 6 -- not really the right conditions for him
Mooy 6 -- not as bad as others claim; he found a lot of space in the second half and became increasingly influential; good set plays too
Murray 5
Maupay 7.5 -- he is a proper goalscorer, that was a poacher's finish, and it's good that he's got back on the score sheet as his goals have come in clusters so far; great work rate too

Subs: n/a

Potter 8 -- 'orses for courses, although surprised he didn't change things up earlier

Anyone know where Alzate was? Was he just dropped from the squad or injured/unwell? Semmed like an obvious candidate for the bench at least with Stevens unfit.

Carrying a slight injury according to Naylor, although Potter hinted it was tactical. Which could be interpreted as not big enough for a windy Saturday afternoon in Sheffield.
