Calderon 6
Bridge 8 his energy is amazing. Looked like our most likely threat of getting a goal.
Upson 7 strong and dependable all night
Greer 7 same as upson. Solid
Bridcutt 8 this guy is prem quality. He will be in the prem one way or another next year.
Hammond 8 never stopped running. Best performance I've seen from him for a while
Crofts 4 the game passed him by completely. Looked way off the pace and should have been subbed at half time for dicker
Orlando 5.5 played out of position IMO. Not his best game for us.
Spanish Dave 6 tried without really threatening at all.
Ulloa 7 . Neat touches but never recieved any quality from wide. Nothing he could do.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Hammond was undoubtedly exceptional. Even right at the end with rushing down the keeper he was going at full pelt and looked like he'd strained 171 of his muscles just to get there. He hobbled heroically after a night of endless energy. Bridcutt was sublime at times also. His passing and bursts forward were greater and i wondered how much his confidence had grown as a footballer since his international debut. Ulloa was outmuscled the night through, but he is still lovely and never get an ounce of protection from a ref who gave the Petes about 32 freekicks in a row with just a single one to us. Orlandi's crossing was dismal, and that was a shame as on a few occasions we were in a position to really whip a beauty in there. David's corners were better and i felt we should have nodded home a setpiece or two really. Crofts improved in the second half, but i worry about his future with us. I'd assumed his brief time in the top flight and successful season in the Champs would have had him as the super-intelligent box-to-box-ox who could contribute both attackingly and defensively, but it's just not the case. He seems to be always somewhere our play never is or where it's never going to be. All players i suppose have a dip in confidence, but if you want to buy a car it's the engine you want in tiptop shape and not care too much about the design of the seasonally inappropriate air freshener dangling from the mirror.
Overall, a good enough performance that we bossed for large spells even without the end result we deserved. The better side and one filled to the brim with determination.

Yep - this is a good team we are watching. As MB pointed out - filled to the brim with determination. But also the ball control from some of our players is a joy to watch. Posh are a team in form and we controlled large parts of the game, and when we had to defend - we did that as well. Special mention for Bridge who continues to give everything, and Upson, both real quality players. An all round good team performance. Happy with a point.

Crofts - 5 - Anonymous apart from late header

Thankfully - otherwise the ref would have had him off by all accounts. Anonymous has been used a few times to describe Crofts, he just hasn't worked out really

Id give Ulloa 2 days off, tell him to come in for a massage on Friday and thats about it !
Need him firing on Saturday.

I'd go along with this, I really can't go along with the start Barnes and put Ulloa on bench thoughts. Get a team on that can get a couple of early goals and maybe give him a break 2nd half. If we can put Blackpool away we have a loads more options then as well as a week before the next game

He needs something. I felt so sorry for the guy. When he got the ball he was too knackered to do anything with it. He must have covered every inch of the pitch. It was exactly why we needed another striker on loan. Last night, anyone could have come on at the end to give the guy a rest. I hope he is recovered for Saturday. He has my total respect as I don't think I have ever seen a Brighton player give more in a match. That said, is he fit?

Small pitch did not suit us at all but we grafted. They missed an open goal, we hit the woodwork a couple of times. Good, battling away point we would not have had last year.

Koosh - 7 - Very little to do
Calde - 7 - Steady and kept going to the end
Bridge - 8 - my MOM. Unbelievable engine and positioning - could be a Play Off winning factor
Greer - 7 - Steady
Upson - 7 - Sound
Bridcutt - 7 - bit in and out of the game for me, but tidied up well in front of the back four
Hammond - 8 - worked his nuts off, clearly less talented than many but really left it all on the pitch last night
Crofts - 5 - Shame - not the same player we sold - poor passing, judgement and control
Orlando - 6 - still too light-weight in possession but what skills!
David - 6.5 - he should have bossed this game but was too often invisible
Ulloa - 7.5 - always available as for the out ball - won 2/3 of these despite being double marked. Got no protection - really grafted up and down too. Legend in the making.

High up on the South Downs.
I'd go along with nearly all the comments - unusual for so many to have been watching the same game. Dean Hammond and Wayne Bridge covered so much ground last night - both magnificent! Peterborough were a very determined team and we very nearly got 3 points.

Very nervy second half display from us. The small pitch certainly wasn't condusive to our style of play. I can see why Posh are on this long unbeaten run - not a bad team. They certainly could/should have scored a couple; we could have had two if not for the crossbar. We need to try more shots from distance - only Bridge had a go in the 2nd half. Isn't this one of JFC's specialities? We missed some speed on the wing - would have made a big difference if we had Buckley or KLL.

Kuszczack 8. Solid goalkeeping with one excellent save from a very good shot in the 1st half.
Calderon 8. Good defending and a real attacking threat.
Greer 8. Thought he was excellent. Great defensive headers. Back to his best.
Upson 7. Good game. Unlucky with the headed shot.
Bridge 7. A few errors, but generally a good game and some good attacking runs towards the end of the 1st half.
Bridcutt 8. His usual exemplary performance.
Hammond 8. Great tackling. Good forward runs. Excellent passing (most of it forward!). Best he's played since being back.
Crofts 5. I thought the game largely passed him by. Not sure if it was a sending off. Too far away to see. The officials were closer and saw nothing wrong - not even a yellow - maybe he got the ball? Unlucky with the headed shot in the 2nd half.
David 6. Not his best game.
Orlandi 6. Similar to David.
Ulloa 7. Poor service. Very closely marked and got nothing from the ref. Some lovely ball control. Looked shattered during the last 20mins. Surprised Gus didn't sub him for Barker.
