Well personally I didn't think he had a great game. One of his goals was from the penalty spot (well taken though) and the goal in injury time was very good but he's a striker that's what he's in the team for to score goals. He fluffed a couple of other chances and didn't contribute too much in my view. Not that it was all his fault, he didn't get any service and Virgo (who started up front alongside him) was having a stinker.
To me a 6 means he had an average game. What was your score then? Were you even there? Several others have marked him higher so maybe I have missed something but that was my opinion. If your opinion was different post your own ratings.
My score would probably 8 - by far the best Albion player on the park IMO. Yes I was there, couldn't really argue with your marking if I wasn't there.
You think that scoring twice (including an top notch goal) is an average game - especially given he didn't have any service? Dred to think what he has to do to have a good game. Not sure he fluffed any chances either, missed one when offside but thats about all I can remember. He worked bloody hard yesterday and I just think that giving him a 6 is an absolute joke. What would he have had to do for a more than average game? Run around like a headless chicken a bit more?
Oh and for what its worth heres my ratings/
Kuipers 7 - Would have been a 9 but decided to throw away two points at the end.
Whing 6 - pretty average game, distrubution poor again but made a few quality challenges.
Hawkins 5 - Missed quite a few headers and got done for their first goal.
Elphick 7 - Pretty good, thought he gave Akinfenwa too much time occassionally though.
Richards 6 - Not bad at all.
Fraser 6 - did a job.
El-Abd 6 - again alright, didn't do much either way.
Livermore 7 - pretty good game, looks like a decent player
Anyansah 7 - Looked a threat most of the game and caused them alot of problems.
Virgo 4 - No idea what he was meant to be doing.
Murray 8 - MOM Good game, brilliant goal at the end.
