Kuszczak-8-Couldn't do anything about the goals, kicking was better, can only remember one occasion where it went straight out of play
Bruno-7-Decent
Greer-6.5-Beaten in the air too much and a few aimless balls at times
El-Abd-8-Made some key clearances, good to have him back
Bridge-7-Bit quiter than usual but good to have him back
Bridcutt-9(MOTM)-Immense
Hammond-8.5-Best game this season IMO
Buckley-7-Lacked end product and looked a bit tired in the 2nd half
Dobbie-5-Very poor
Hoskins-7.5-Chased everything, played the Barnes role with much more energy
CMS-9-Very good link up play today and a superbly taken goal, very good

Subs:Barnes-7-Decent
LuaLua-8-Showed some great touches, if he works on his fitness I think he could be key for us
Calderon-7-Good attacking play, little end product

Very fair assessment, wouldn't disagree with any of your comments :)

Kuszczak 6
Bruno 7
Bridge 7
Greer 5 - was poor for me and never seems to attack the ball
AEA 7
Hammond 8 - MoM
Buckley 7.5
Bridcutt 8
Dobbie 5 - was pleased when we signed him, but form wise is very disappointing
Hoskins 6 - worked hard
CMS 8

Calderon 6
Barnes 7 - good touches, we had more presence physically when he replaced Dobbie.
KLL 7 - on fire...... Needs games

Support - outstanding effort everyone.

Would go along with everything so far except mark up Buckley a bit - caused them endless problems.

I thought he looked weak in the 2nd half although admittedly he is always one of our best players so maybe I'm being too critical of him. Missed a good chance in the 2nd half, but with him and LuaLua on both fully fit we'll be a force to be reckoned with imo.

Given todays performances I would start both of them and not Dobbie.
Barnes looked very good in the attacking midfield role when he came on.

Agreed. Barnes is better the more attacking position he is in, he wins headers and free kicks in good areas.

Star performances from Bridcutt, Hammond and KLL (for his time on)

Most of the rest put in a great shift

Dobbie bringing up the rear

I reckon Bridcutt will be Captain next year ... Gus defo does all the talking to him and he's so calm and assured ... we'd really struggle without him

They said on the radio when Dobbie came off there was no acknowledgement, no handshake, pat on the back etc. Was Gus hacked off with his performance?
