Disagree entirely. Thought he was excellent first half and ready to challenge Welbeck for a starting place. Faded second half but understandable - not helped by terrible service second half
There was a lot of bad but last night we saw signs of the old Ferguson for the first time in a while.
Quick feet to beat defenders and the almost goal (classic Ferguson) which Minteh finished.
He needs one of those to go in, then we’ll see.

I don’t think moments of brilliance (Adringa) and shite (Steele) make or break an overall performance. Baleba was the only consistently good player over their pitch time.

The big question for me is has Adingra done enough to displace Mitoma? If it’s based purely on the last couple of games I’d say yes.

What I suspect will happen is he’ll be put on the right in place of Minteh.
Counting his minutes, he has played ~1.5 games against PL opposition this season and scored 2 goals and 1 assist. Include the Crawley game and its 3 goals and 1 assist in 256 minutes.

If that's not enough to get a league start then... well, who the f*** do we think we are, Manchester City?

Definitely. It's noticeable at the match how much fitter and leaner he is as well compared to his uncomfortable lumbering self of last season. Lots of quick turns, closing down and rapid sprints. Reminding what he can be. That surge you get as he controls, turns, gets his head up and looks to try and get a shot off as quock as possible. Hes one of the few players who does that and you can see the opposition panicking. Also someone mentions he lost his battles, and im sure he lost some, but you remember what you want to remember and i was in the west lower and just before he went off i watched him about 10 yards away sprint to keep the ball in, hold off a couple of defenders, and play nice one twos with estupinan to keep attacks moving. Something he hasnt been doing for ages. He just looked much bouncier live.

Steele made a couple of very important saves and a couple of horrendous decisions.
Hinchelwood I thought was caught at the wrong end of the pitch a few times and looked slow in getting back but boy how wrong was I that goal line clearance I have watched it over and over amazing.
Baleba really is maturing and he’s only 20 a beast of a midfielder.
Adingra a great winger we really blessed in that department.
Fergerson signs he is getting his fitness and confidence back.
Weiffer if we can keep him fit he could be massive.
Ferdi made a terrible error but I liked his desire to chase the player to win the ball back and then later score quite a little debut.
We look devastating going forward less so going backwards yet after 6 games we have conceded only 4 goals while scoring 9 through to round 4 while sitting 6th in the league not a bad start to the season
