He probably disagrees with you on the subject of "inept players".

He probably disagree with you on a lot of subjects actually.
Am I meant to be offended :lolol: Potter disagreeing with me really isn’t going to change my life. What’s funny is it might yours considering you have some weird obsession with the guy.

Not really.

And no I think you and GP disagreeing is going to have very, very limited impact on my life.

What’s fantastic is if we pick up one more point from four games and manage to finish above 13th the factually Potter will be the best manager we have ever had. That will wind up a few on her which is marvellous.

Even one more point will be great. Tangible solid progress when had sold two of our best centre half’s for excellent profit.

Ok mate, is this on the same level as shit as you scoring March a 7/10

I don't hate any Brighton players so I just give them match ratings based on what I see.

Solly March came on, was involved in a lot of duels and managed to hold on to the ball to give the team some breathing room whereas Mwepu had previously done nothing but giving it away for the last 30 minutes. The team was in a dire situation before that double sub and the energy and ball retaining skills Gross and March came in with probably saved a point.

That it is true.

It stemmed the tide, Saints big push for a winner seemed to run out of steam, I got the impression they settled for an away point.

I wouldn’t say Solly was effective creatively in the slightest, that was Gross, but at least we stopped getting whipped down the flanks.

Do you think others on here hate players? Plenty judge performances I’ve never seen anyone say they hate a player.

Yes I think so. Maybe not "hate" but "strongly dislike". I've seen plenty of NSC members wishing for Brighton players to get injured or giving a bag of shit to certain players whenever they are anywhere near the pitch.

Exactly. People say Cucurella had a bad game but I think it was more the fact he was totally exposed down that flank for most of the game. Livramento was having a field day before the injury and had enough space to open up his own farm at times. Saints then pushed this tactic early in the 2nd half where we barely had the ball which only changed when Gross and Solly came on.

Caceido and Mwepu are great prospects but were naive at times. Bissouma was missed on Sunday with that being a preview of how we might get done in midfield at times next season.

Good post, all points spot on.

I do feel that defensively Cucurella was poor, but the formation/personnel left him all at sea. Veltman faced the same issues, but used his game intelligence and wealth of experience to make life difficult for the one or two trying to tear him inside out.

I've seen plenty of NSC members wishing for Brighton players to get injured .

Can you find me some specific examples? If they are serious then this is something we don't tend to put up with and the posts should be reported.

Of course, there's also a chance they were joking and you didn't get it.

I await the evidence with baited breath.

Two examples. https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/show...e-Albion-***-Official-Match-Thread-***/page51

Ayew "doing Brighton a favour" when he landed on Alzates ankle, followed by some other unpleasant comments.

Ayew's done us a favour here

Another, wishing for Maupay to be injured:

Shame, Maupay out for the rest of the season would have done us a favour IMO.

I've seen more but those are the ones I can think of on top of my head.

Zero class and frankly quite disturbing.

It's certainly not something that comes across in the stadium.
Which is, after all, the only place where players have no choice but to interact with us.

Isn’t it all a bit pantomime though? I would find it a bit sad if it was genuine hate.

Indeed it is. It's just typical football fan humour.

I remember back in The Championship days having a mate who genuinely disliked Ashley Barnes playing for us, he just didn't rate him. We were sat in Dicks before a mid week game and the teams came out and Barnes was starting. My mate said "10 man team again then".

We won, Barnes scored and we all took the piss out of matey over beers after the game. And that was it really.

I've seen some players lambasted on here but more like Locadia, Akpom, Obika, Elvis Manu, half of David Burke and Sami Hyypia's loan infested shitfest and particularly that waste of space (see what I did there?) Kemy Agustien. But, even with these players it was always "Christ, not this bloke" rather than death threats or wishing they broke a leg.

Pointing out that Solly March usually turns back onto his strong foot and rolls the ball back 5 yards isn't hate. It's a statement of fact

Obviously, as it is inhumane and a majority of people in a stadium are humans and the handful of mindless idiots will be drowned out by the majority.

As I suspected you've not got any grasp of humour / context at all. Fortunately I can read the tone of both of those posters a bit better than you.

Find me ones that say "I hope Maupay breaks a leg and never plays again".

THAT would be unacceptable, as opposed to a jokey aside that would normally be made to a mate in the ground sotto voce.

There was a weird guy on here about 3 or 4 years ago who kept on saying players should be horse whipped. We banned him.

He wasn't wrong though, was he?

(That's a joke)
