OK. I'll try (though I understand why nobody else has)

Sanchez - 9 - Had nothing to do in the first half, made 3 or 4 terrific (and one world class) saves in the second. Also a magnificent ball to Marc for Gross goal
Veltman - 9 - Once again magnificent. Calm passing and part of a defence determined not to concede
Dunk - 10 - Always on the cover and bested CR7. Wonderful passing
Cucurella - 10 - What an outlet. What energy. Brilliant in defence and attack and richly deserved his goal
Bissouma - 9 - All action and intelligent passing. A formidable partnership with Caicedo
Caicedo - 10 - Wonder strike set us on our way. Such vision in a young player and always looking forward
MacAllister - 8 - On another day this could have been a man of the match performance. Ticked us over, but there were other more stand outs
Trossard - 9 - His timing of pass was spot on and was a big part of what made Cucu such a threat.
March - 10 - Link up play with Gross was exceptional. Showed incredible skill to go with his tenacity. My, how he has come on.
Gross - 10 - MOM - What an incredible footballer. I fear we've been wasting him at CM for a long time. Today was work rate allied to imagination. What a wonderful finish for what is my goal of the season
Welbeck - 9 - No goals, but his link up play was sublime at times

I have no hesitation in declaring this the greatest performance ever by a Brighton team

Sanchez - 9
Veltman - 10
Dunk - 10
Cucurella - 10 MoM, just, from Veltman. 2 players of the Season
Bissouma - 8.5 Superb & sloppy as hell. Which is Biss, innit
Caicedo - 10 How good is he going to be?
MacAllister - 9
Trossard - 8.5
March - 9
Gross - 10
Welbeck - 9

United weren't even that bad. Albion were absolutely feckin brilliant

I don’t think I’ve ever contributed on a match rating thread, but that is a close to a 10/10 performance across the board as you are ever likely to see.

The goalkeeper score in threads like this is a consistent amusement to me.

I'm bemused how a goalkeeper can be "downgraded" for nothing to do.

If you have "nothing to do" but can still maintain concentration to pull off >

1) A world class save

2) An assist that had one of the greatest players of all time seething....

That's a 10 at least.

Give whatever score you want to the lot of them, but I'd add 1 more for Cucu and Gross to make them joint MOTM as both were absolutely outstanding

Not sure Sanchez was anything but a 10 yesterday, as he did make great saves.

Average (6/10) should always be a starting point IMO. Normally NSCers overate the outfield players IMO anyway.

That was until yesterday - magnificent…….

Even their Manure loving sportswriter thinks:

“Scott McTominay

Mystifying he emerged for the second-half. Bossed by Yves Bissouma and Moises Caicedo and confirmed it with his constant fouling. 2”

We knew that already, at OT McTw@t was a talentless hacking snide.

Perfect description.

How he escaped a yellow yesterday was confusing to me. Can’t stand him. Whinging hacker.

All player receive a 10

Potter gets a 9 as he loses 1 point for not unzipping his member and running on the pitch to perform a mini potter cartwheel with his todger in front of ronaldo.

It literally doesn't get better than that

No bookings, no injuries, no rain.....That was probably the most perfect afternoon of football I can remember in 53 years of watching the Albion. Yes, yes, it is an emotional roller coaster getting there, up the divisions, into the top flight, but to do that to the biggest club in the world, in a league match that meant more to them than to us, in that way, on that day, was what it's all about.

I did let rip with a couple of very loud 'McTominay, you're an animal's yesterday. I rather enjoyed that, although it has played havoc with my voice.
