They were all rubbish, no energy, no passion no fight.

Solly March unwillingness to drop the shoulder and go past the man really disappointed as he got into good position so many times; some nice touches from Ferguson

Sean Dyche 12/10 - set his team up brilliant to beat us

6 - average

Sanchez - 6
Lamptey - 6
Cucurella - 7
Veltman - 5 - FFS someone tell him the rules about taking a free-kick and a rolling ball. Bullied
Duffy - 5 - started well, but poor behaviour towards a younger player
Lallana - 5 - bad miss with the header
Bissouma - 5 - not interested, doesn’t warrant a place on todays form
Moder - 6- started well and faded
MacAllister - 7
Maupay - 6
Welbeck - 4 - quite poor

March - 5
Trossard - 5
Ferguson - N/A

Kevin Friend - so poor - 4 - not the reason we lost

Duffy showed why he is superfluous to us today - Roberts would have been a better shout even if we had lost. He's nowhere near good enough at this level. Burnley just sat back and waited when he was on the ball. Webster would have been a different problem to deal with as he is actually a footballer

Roberts would have been bullied to a ridiculous extent.

And call me old school but I like a keeper who will command his area and call for the ball.

No shout from Sanchez on the incident people are criticising Shane for.

That’s not the point though is it?
It is Duffy’s reaction (certainly didn’t warrant a 2 though).

Thought Cucu and Lamptey had really poor games. They simply never hit their man. Everything seemed to bounce of Cucu.
Mac really grew in to the game and is looking more and more like a replacement for Lallana (sooner rather than later hopefully). Biss looked disinterested again which is a worry. Nightmare all round really. No injuries though, at least.

2s all round. Utterly pathetic by all of them. No fight, no passion and precious little ability

Some rather generous scores so far. If 6 is average, every player was below average so 4s across the board.

Dyche completely owned Potter.

Robert Sanchez 6 - nothing to do on the goals, not all that much to do otherwise
Tariq Lamptey 6 - did alright, some good actions and some less good ones
Joel Veltman 5 - no massive mistakes from him but struggled with Weghorst and Cornet
Shane Duffy 2 - unacceptable behaviour - I dont think the second goal happens without the fight between Duffy and Sanchez - and a poor, poor performance
Marc Cucurella 4 - late into lots of situations and gave away the ball constantly
Yves Bissouma 4 - got off to a bad start and never recovered from it
Adam Lallana 6 - was alright and involved in what little was created in first half
Jakub Moder 5 - not horrible but no energy today, looked a little hungover from the United game
Alexis Mac Allister 8 - best Brighton player on the pitch with a gigantic margin
Danny Welbeck 5 - little to work with but didnt seem to be friends with the ball today
Neal Maupay 6 - think he was alright, did some good playmaking in the final third

Subs
Solly March 7 - lively
Leandro Trossard 6 - nothing from him really
Evan Ferguson n/a - nothing to work with and came in just before the third goal that made the boys give up

Interesting mark for Ali Mac - he made a pass after about 15 minutes and me and my lad up to that point had both forgotten he was on the pitch. Sixes all round at best for me today - a collective shitshow.

All good points. Makes you wonder how this team beat Watford last week. Talk about contrasts

Not sure if you are referring to the BBC site but they have Duffy as the second best player as well....

Duffy didn’t have a good game but he’s getting a unfair rap for the Sanchez incident- he actually dug Sanchez out of a hole by taking responsibility clearing that ball when Sanchez wasn’t doing anything. For Sanchez then to climb into him afterwards for saving his ass was bloody petulant and no wonder Duffy was angry about it (tho they were both stupid for squaring up to each other). Sanchez needs to grow up a bit because his head still looked gone as the second dribbled in

Robert Sanchez 5 - letting ball roll between his legs not his best game
Tariq Lamptey 6 - unable to get forward as the two centre backs were under to much pressure
Joel Veltman 5 - after so many good games struggled partially from Weghorst who looks a bargain
Shane Duffy 4 - really poor game like to see passion but not against team mates
Marc Cucurella 5 - like the rest of the team he struggled
Yves Bissouma 4 - worst game for ages
Adam Lallana 5 - poor game heading lessons required
Jakub Moder 5 - poor game
Alexis Mac Allister 7 - MOM
Danny Welbeck 5 - hardly any chances given or made
Neal Maupay 6 - little service
Subs
Solly March 6 - brought some urgency but we never got going
Leandro Trossard 5 - to little to late
Evan Ferguson 5 - great to see him get his first prem start

While we were poor Burnley looked good much better than their position indicates and in the German Weghorst I think they can claw themselves out of trouble

Roberts would have been bullied to a ridiculous extent.

Actually clueless people advocating throwing him into a home debut against a team like Burnley. Duffy wasn’t great, but no worse than Veltman or even Cucurella who’s was garbage.

Bissouma was the worst of the lot. Gave zero protection to the CBs today.

Robert Sanchez 6 - Could not do a lot with the goals. This was the day when every time Burnley shot turned to goals. This won’t happen to them again this season. They are going down, down, down.
Tariq Lamptey 4 - By his own standards, he was horrific. Never seemed to take a player on. Passed it back at every opportunity or lost it. His worst performance in a Albion shirt by a mile. He has never been as bad and won’t be again.
Joel Veltman 6 - He was bang average. But didn’t work well with Duffy.
Shane Duffy 3 - Fighting with Sanchez? What an idiot. Couldn’t bring the ball forward, only a back 3 player when everyone is fit. Why give him the captain’s armband when Lallana went off? And the second goal? Take a look at yourself Shane!
Marc Cucurella 7 - Not at his best but better than most of the team. Above average.
Yves Bissouma 6 - Fine but never got into the game. Worried so much about the back 4, he never strayed forward.
Adam Lallana 6 - Pretty average.
Jakub Moder 5 - Ineffectual.
Alexis Mac Allister 7 - The class of the midfield. Kept fighting. This guy has a massive future.
Danny Welbeck 5 - Had no clue of how or where to play today.
Neal Maupay 6 - No support or team shape to help him.

Subs
Solly March 6 - Slowed play down as useful and didn’t cross straight away.
Leandro Trossard 5 - No real affect. Dull.
Evan Ferguson N/A - Did he touch the ball?

Potter 3 - Like a solar eclipse, so rarely darkens our doors like he did today. All his fault, Dyche mastered him.
