they may be relatively high scores considering the "poor" performance, but they reflect that nobody had a bad game, its just there wasnt anything above average
So it sounds like we were a bit average against a poor team, three points in the bag and up to third in the table must count as a good result.
If we look back to the heady days of the back to backs I am sure you will find more than a few performances of todays standard, what was important was getting the points, today we did precisely that.
damn right, vdg - still getting the points when not playing well is how you win championships, get promotions, etc. Nobody plays well all the time - and we can certainly play better than we have over the last two games.
FG giving Charlie a rating of 3 is just plain childish. He was probably watching a different game from the one I saw, because Jones and Henderson both also played well.
OK - i wasn't there tonight but am amazed at some of the performance ratings. Surely some of these scores should only be handed out for performances that indicate players were playing almost to the best of their abilty - which listening on SCR it didn't sound like!
