I don't understand what he does. Got to be the slowest striker i have ever seen. We should send him back early. Not a massive fan of Barnes either but would rather him than barn door Billy

When he's looking sparky he does play well. Unfortunately he seems like dicker: good game, shit game, good game, shit etc

Perhaps I'm letting his goal cloud my judgment but I wasn't particularly aware of him giving it away often.

Have to agree Paynter is a complete waste of time though. Send him back and let's get someone new in January. Can't see him ever being up to it

People do slate barnes but he's young and he's our top scorer.

True. Great goal, but in the 2nd half his defending and passing were poor.

Ankergren - 6 - Nothing special, nothing major required.
Calderon - 7.5 - One or two mistakes, but otherwise great attacking down the wing.
Greer - 7 - Solid.
Dunk - 7 - Solid.
Painter - 5 - Didn't get much of a chance to see him, but he wasn't anything special.
Bridcutt - 7.5 - Great distribution and wasn't caught napping that I remember.
Harley - 7.5 - Surprisingly strong, good passing and a couple of vital tackles and good crosses. Hopefully he can play that well against stronger teams in future.
Noone - 8 - Quality, made it past the defender 80% of the time and put in a few decent crosses.
Navarro - 6.5 - Solid, but nothing special.
Paynter - 3 - WHY IS HE PLAYING? One good tackle before being subbed.
Mackail-Smith - 8 - Great pressure for the first goal and generally superb workrate.

Vincelot - 8 - Great play, and a fabulous header.
Barnes - 6 - Nothing brilliant, him or Hoskins should start next game.
Lualua - 6.5 - Some good work, not enough chances to make much of an impact.

I've heard Painter is out for 2 weeks?
