Ryan 7. Standard , no problems
Montoya 8. Solid in defence, linked well with midfield
Burn 8. By rights he should be a donkey but he is as good with the ball as anyone. Such an unusual player.
Dunk and Duffy. Both 8s. Great to see them back. How it should be.
Bissouma 8. I wish he’d started against Sheffield. Unpredictable and hard to contain
Mooy 10. Complete midfield performance.
Propper 9. First time I’ve truly ‘got’ him. Dominated the midfield.
Aj 9. Probably an 8 tbh, but it was so good to see him have his moment
Trossard 6. Quiet game , but it didn’t matter
Maupay 6. For all his attributes His first Touch wasreally poor today

Potter 9. Masterstroke team selection
Howe 0. Giving our midfield the freedom of the amex..good one , you smug idiot.

That piece of skill by Bissouma when he knocked it over someone collected it turned someone else inside out and moved on then totally cocked up a final ball/pass. It would have been assist of the season had he put someone through with that passage of play. He'd have gotten a 10 from me had his final ball gone to one of our players instead of into no mans land.
Overall it was a real team performance which merits an 8 for everyone other than:
Ali J - 9 - An additional point for his goal and my sentimentality
Mooy - 10 Absolutely ran the show
Burn - 9 - Because he shouldn't but just does.

There, that's my first and probably last time I've ever done the player rating thing.

Potter - 11 - For turning us into an entertaining team who play the game the way that I do in my nightly football dreams.

Ryan 7 - good save early on then untroubled.
Montoya 7 - attacked well down the right
Burn 8 - unlucky to have a well-taken goal ruled out
Dunk 8 - commanded central defence well and made some typical good blocks
Duffy 8 - reignited old partnership with Dunk
Bissouma 7.5 - driving force in the midfield until tiring later on
Mooy 9.5 virtually flawless. A stunning midfield masterclass
Propper 8 - very intelligent on the ball
AJ 8 - took his goal very well and created further openings
Trossard 7 - good movement and a great ball to Mooy for the goal
Maupay 7 - full of running. Touch let him down today but was always an outlet.

Ryan -6- nothing to do
Montoya -6- steady performance , nothing spectacular
Duffy -6- in the first half he made a couple of wrong decisions and King should have punished him
Dunk -8- some great blocks and diagonal passes
Burn -8- dealt with H Wilson well, an important block and unlucky to have his goal chalked out.
Pröpper -8-so composed and dominated the midfield
Bissoumma -9- was everywhere ! His show boating at the end as well gets an extra point
Mooy -10- bossed the game, his goal was incredible !
AJ -8- so happy to see him get a goal
Trossard -6- very quiet by his standards
Maupay -6- wasteful with his chances

Ryan: 6

Montoya: 7

Burn: 9, deserved a goal, and should have had one IMO.

Dunk: 8 composure at the back, vital.

Duffy: 6 first half, 7 second half.

Propper: 9, typically classy performance.

Bissouma: 8, at times 7, at times 9.

Mooy: 10, 10, 10. He did tons right, scored and I don't recall any errors.

Ali J: 8, good goal, excellent first touch, easily good enough.

Trossard: 8 for the assist.

Maupay: 7.5 relentless, just needs to be a bit more accurate.

Ryan 6.5 - fairly quiet game, did everything he needed to do

Montoya 8 - unsung hero of the team. In the post-match analysis from sky they mentioned that him and Mooy had the joint highest number of touches in the game

Dunk 8 - composed as usual, great to have him back. Some beautiful long passes

Duffy 7 - did well on the whole, couple of mistakes could have led to worse on another day

Burn 8.5 - I've been uncertain about him as a LB and was sure Bernardo would keep his place, but BDB was uttterly faultless today. So unlucky not to be on the scoresheet.

Propper 8 - did the defensive role superbly today, broke up play and got the ball forward, including for the first goal

Bissouma 7.5 - really good today and seems to be growing with each game. Ao unlucky hitting the post

Mooy 9.5 - seen people compare him to Zidane and it's fitting. Completely ran the game, and what a goal.

Trossard 7 - hard to know what to give him as he was anonymous for most of the game, and then pulls out an absolutely magical assist. He has that ability to change games with one moment, which justifies his place in the team despite some otherwise average performances recently

AJ 7.5 - so so happy for him that things started to click today, and a great goal. Clearly confidence has been an issue and it looks like Potter is dealing with that really well. AJ definitely has something different about him that our other wingers don't have, I could see Maupay getting onto one of those driven early crosses and some of his quick passes on his first touch were sublime. However, he did get caught in possession a few times taking too long on the ball - possibly from not being up to speed with the pace of the PL. Would like to see him get more game time now.

Maupay 7.5 - on another day could have scored a couple, it didn't quite come off for him today but he always makes dangerous runs

Potter 10 - got the team selection absolutely spot on today, and with his man management of Schelotto and now AJ to bring them back from the brink is great to see. We really do have a lot of strength of depth now and it's great that Potter can rotate the team so much for tactical reasons without weakening the side.

Generally agree with these scores except would mark up Trossard to 7 for his sublime chip for Mooy's goal.

Ryan - 7 - Very little to do.

Montoya - 7 - Good solid game. Been much better lately.
Duffy - 6 - Webster would have got pelters if he slipped like Duffy did in the first half. Gotta be consistent.
Dunk - 8 - Usual brilliant self. Would have got something at Spurs if he’d been fit.
Burn - 8 - I love him, the big gangly legend. Took his ‘goal’ well.

Propper - 8 - Stood out the least but did a lot of the dirty work. Under Hughton people said he needed to play further forward. Turns out he just needed more confidence.
Bissouma - 8.5 - He didn’t play much in the first half of the season but he’s came back a mature box-to-box midfielder. Wins tackles, breaks up play and his skill in the second half was unreal. Needs to play more
Mooy - 10 - Theres not enough words in the English language. A magician

Trossard - 7 - He was quiet for large spells but his assist for our second goal is one of the best passes I’ve seen a Brighton player make. Absolute class.
Maupay - 7 - Wasn’t his day but chased everything and worked his socks off.
Ali J - 8 - Brilliant first half, the goal was a massive confidence boost and we finally saw the player we signed. Great understanding with Mooy too.
