Maenpaa 7 one very good save
Bong 6
Uwe 8 very easy for the German tonight
Goldson 8 class above
Rosenior 6 thought he looks fairly rusty
Skalak 5 looks shot to bits. confidence completely gone
Ince 7 decent at times
Molomby 8 only turned 18 a few weeks ago, what a prospect he is
Knockeart 6 splitting up with his misses has made him very angry by looks of things.
Towell 4 poor tonight
Hemed 5 didn't offer much but was not supported at all

Tilley 6.5 took goal well
Connolly not long enough
Mateju 7 looked very quick hard to tell how well he can defend at the moment

When has he not been poor? I'm must be missing something, how he got a new deal is beyond me

Didn't see or hear the game but how does Hemed score so low? Surely this was his chance to bag a few. Was it his poor performance or the lack of support around him as I would expect a Prem striker to have a field day against a team from the lower leagues

Just never looked like scoring. Didn't look hungry for the ball, was slow coming back. Generally out of sorts.

Maenpaa, the central defence and the kids did well, but very disappointing from Skalak, Hemed and Towell.

A shocking performance by the Albion. Embarrassing to see a Brighton team of whom eight might be in our 25 man PREMIER LEAGUE squad being given a runaround by a team three divisions below us. Only decent displays were from Maenpaa, Uwe, Goldson. No urgency for most of the game. Too many crossfield and backward passes.

Maenpaa 7. Not an awful lot to do, but a decent performance.
Rosenior 4. Was expecting a lot better.
Goldson 7. Good to see him back. Looked strong. Played well.
Hunemeir 7.
Bong 6. OK
Molumby 5. Far too much sideways passing. Not enough effort to speed up the game and make forward progress.
Ince 6. Did OK. One or two lovely tackles and some decent distribution.
Knockaert 5. Major dissapointment. Hissy fit because he wasn't given a free kick when fouled. Deserved the yellow the way he berated the linesman. One or two nice touches, but became frustrated because Barnet didn't sit back and let him run rings around them. Needs to grow up.
Skalak 3. Awful. One decent shot. Apart from that he spent the game gifting the ball to Barnet players.
Towell 4. Poor. Was expecting to see a decent display from him, but did nothing of note.
Hemed 5. A lot of running, but to little effect. I hope Reading weren't watching because if they were they be withdrawing their bid.

Subs:
Tilley 6. Well taken goal, but otherwise looked a bit lightweight.
Mateju 6. Quite impressed. Decent defensively and going forward.
Connolly N/A. Hardly touched the ball. Not impressed when he did.

Summary: Depressing.

Right in front of me. Thought he was pushing beyond a yellow at one stage.

The front six showed almost no inclination to take on League Two players. Too many safe passes backwards and square. And this was a team largely comprised of players who were mostly very good to excellent last season against far stronger Championship teams. What has gone wrong?

Tonights points scores are the same as all our games at the moment.

Quite good at defending especially down the middle, but no creativity.

It seems the manager is getting off very lightly on this. We are basically not even interested in going for it and CH has to take some responsibility. Fully expect a flaming but it's worrying how slow, predictable and pedestrian we are in attack. We look scared to shoot and took our foot off the gas again when we scored. The defence is absolutely fine but we were fecking dull to watch tonight.

I was very impressed with Goldson and Maenpaa.

Lancing
Maenpaa - 7 Solid and no nonsense
Bong - 5 Delivery and passing dreadful at times, not looking sharp
Rosenior - 7 Pretty solid and did his job well
Goldson - 7 Good to see winning headers and assured on the ball
Uwe - 8 As above
Molomby - 7 Good effort from the youngster, would like to have seen him run with the ball more
Ince - 7 Looked back to what he is capable of
AK - 6 A rather petulant display, not his best
Skalak - 5 Awful
Towell - 4 - Theres a reason he's nowhere near the first team.
Hemed - 5 Slow.

New right back - Didn't notice him once.
Tilley - 6.5
Connolly - Not enough time to rate.

I almost agree with your review I think Hemed had absolutely no service and Skalak made some mistakes but he was the one driving the attack take him out of tonight's equation and we would have been much the poorer

Always seems to be on social media making comments like "let's do it" and "now we need to show what we can do" or words to that effect. Then the opportunity comes along and nothing happens. Not having a pop at him particularly but just trying to understand why players seem to talk a good game but never seem to deliver when they have the opportunity

I'd agree with you almost completely except for his performances last season when he came off the bench. He seems to play so much better and have a greater impact as a second half sub - or he did in the Championship. Not so sure that would be true in the PL.

We're you at the game?

Skalak was absolutely shocking. I was amazed Hughton kept him on the pitch!
