I can't be arsed to single out each player, they'd all score well.
But would like to take a moment to mention Locadia and Bernie in what was 'Team Defence' I thought they both played extremely well.

Over to you lot for the intricate scoring.

Ali had his best game for us. For once he actually looked like he was prepared to do some work.

He was getting dogs abuse on the radio at half time and I can kind of see why.
But by the same token just like the semi final he seemed to be our only 'out', getting the foul that then lead to 2 corners and being inches away from Andone's studs with our only genuine open play attack on goal.

Deepest, darkest Sussex
Ryan 9 - Was immense at times

Montoya 8 - Lost Rose and Moura a bit too often
Dunk 10 - Brick wall
Duffy 10 - Brick wall but in Green
Bernardo 9 - Defensively very sound, not a lot of threat came from their right

Bissouma 8 - Ran well, combative, think we lost something when he came off
Stephens 9 - His best game in weeks, more please Dale
Gross 7 - Game passed him by at times but some good passes and clearances, set pieces were good mostly (but late free kick was a waste)

Jahanbakhsh 6 - Did alright, cross should have been better for Andone's chance
Andone 7 - Raging bull
Locadia 9 - Did well, also did a shift at the back, a stand-out performance from him for us

Subs:
Murray 6 - Didn't hold the ball up particularly but won a few long clearances
Kayal 6 - Should have replaced Gross
March 6 - Tried, should have crossed at the death

Hughton 8 - Set the team up well, nearly got away with it

He's an odd one huh? Clearly technically gifted, but has shown very little to show he's a top league player. Actually he reminds me of Darren Currie.
Locadia reminds me of Bas Savage too, oddly.

You can’t fault any of the players at the end of the day. It took a late strike from a world class player to win the game. Bernardo and Bissouma are players I love watching. Dunk gave a master class in defending. It feels to me like the football gods are against us and the Newcastle game is our Cup Final. Crossing everything hoping we can get across the line.

The usual, lazy, uninterested, pack your bags, get him off.

It seems so out of place as Brighton fans never single out 'one of their own' for cowardly abuse.
