I think these are a really good feature outside the West stand and most heroes warrant there place, although I feel there are too many modern day players (is it because they still have jobs with the club?)
The final two players I'm really not sure about firstly Guy Butters, great character coming back from the stick he received in 2002 but in many ways his own fault no professional footballer should ever be that out of shape. Was he really that good that he warrants his place? Probably not in my opinion.
The final player Leon Knight I find harder to stomach, fair enough scored a crucial penalty at Cardiff but his character left a lot to be desired and again I don't think he done enough with us to warrant his place.
Surely Johnny Byrne, Steve Gatting, Ian Chapman or Michel Kuipers would be worthier recipients of this?
