Probably the single best performance to date was Ronaldo against holland last night, absolututely immense. Only prob is that he didnt produce the first two games but I think portugal will reach the semis at least so he has time still to shine

I have been very very impressed with Iniesta in this tournament. It always seems a surprise to me that he isn't talked about in the same breath as Ronaldo or Messi by more people. His performance against Italy was absolutely breathtaking.

However, I do have to agree with you here DTES. Ronaldo put in the shift of the tournament yesterday, he was unbelievable. So I'd say it's looking like one of these two at the moment.

ronaldo is the only player for me who could basically win the tournament by himself

what i mean by that is, whilst iniesta is obviously amazing, spain could still do well without him, and would still be capable of winning it imo......ditto germany and any of their players

portugal do have some good players, but if you took ronaldo out of their side they'd stand a minuscule chance of glory, with CR7 in there they do have a chance as he has the ability to win games with a moment of brilliance
