Dan Burn for me.

I know Dunk has probably been our best player, but how Burn has blown my expectations out the water makes me proud to give him the recognition he deserves.

It was the one signing I actually questioned over the last couple of years, and to see him slot into our first team and make it almost impossible not to pick him, has been incredible.

He’s been our plan B all season of playing it out to a wide target man, and for the job he’s done for us, he’s been my player of the season.

I fear l may have cast my vote a tad hastily, l went for Dan Burn, who l think has been an absolute revelation at left back, (not even his natural position before joining the Albio), but having given it more thought, as good as big Dan has been, Lewis Dunk's all round performances in the centre of defence has to give him the crown.

I voted Dunk. He's our best player. But I totally agree that BDB has been a revelation and an unexpected one at LB.

Dunk. His own performances have been imense but look how much Webster has improved just by playing 30 games alongside him.

Vital goals and assists too. He should be a regular in the England squad.

It has to be Dunk for me.

Most improved player has to be Bissouma.

Another solid season for Ryan and Propper.

Good first season for Maupay.

I have enjoyed watching Mooy play as well.

I wonder if Mings, England International, is as far ahead in the Villa player of the season poll

I am going for Maupay, only because I think it’s tougher to score goals than save them in this division, and it’s his first season in a team that has changed it’s style. It’s also great to have an annoying young skilful scrapper up front for the Albion at last. Very close call over Dunk though.

Dunk. Player of the year. Player of the decade. Player of the century. Player of our history.

Dunk obviously, with a mention to Maupay, BDB and Bissouma who has looked better as the season has gone on.

I voted for Neil Maupay, as I think we have got something special here, with more to come.
Obvious choice was Lewis Dunk, but my thought was that Lewis Dunk does what Lewis Dunk does, no frills and just gets on with it
