If Buckley can stay fit then I think he will pick up PotS by the end of the campaign. The most exciting player we have got in my opinion. He actually seems to be faster than KLL in full flight and he can sure finish!

Only Gordon Greer, Lewis Dunk and CMS have shown any consistency.

Noone flatters to deceive, and KLL hasn't played enough.

Greer gets the nod at the moment.

Agreed. Can understand Noone but I dont see much end product and as you say, others have been consistent.

Greer for consistency, quality & leadership; CMS for super-human effort (despite the dismal 'service').

Got to be CMS for me. Ok he hasn't scored as much as we'd like, but his work rate is unbelievable. Give the guy the service, and he will do the rest.

Two of our best players this season have hardly played. Taricco and Buckley. The worst has been Billy Paynter. By a long long way. Can't disgaree with others though overall. For those who have played regularly it is hard to separate Greer, CMS and Noone. I think Calde on that score has had a poor season so far but has been carrying an injury, although he has admitted finding the step up considerable.

Greer end off .....for all those saying noone he needs to work on the end product ! more worried about beating players than getting the ball in the box

CMS by a country mile for his graft and his attitude. If he's pissed off with the lack of goals - which is purely down to an almost complete lack of service - then he never lets it show. Always last off the pitch and always applauds the individual stands. A total credit to the club. All that and a tried and trusted SCOTTISH international also. Truly we are blessed

Tricky as bridcutt has been very good as has tano when used but cms and Greer have been there every game with big moments. Noone has been awesome in most games but not quite there yet. Want to see more of vincente, Buckley and vincelot as they have been outstanding when fit etc. Casper should be given free transfer and get the brez in there ! Casper has lost faith in himself big time ;(

Cms,Greer, noone and bridcutt all even really so far.........

I think it's tricky to call, because when we've played well, we've generally done it as a team, or thanks to a rare cameo from Buckley. Noone started like a train, but has fallen away, Bridcutt has been solid, but rarely bossed games like we'd become used to seeing. Barnes was playing well (flame me) at the start of the season, but I don't think Gus helps him with where he asks him to play. CMS works incredibly hard, and at times has been brilliant .... that first goal vs Leeds was breath-taking. But he's our centre-forward and he's not scoring the goals we want from him yet.

So, it's one of the CBs for me. Dunk has been excellent, but part of it is just how much he's exceeded expectations, that has detracted attention from a series of absolutely collosal performances from Greer. PotS so far, for me, is Greer.

Tough to call really.

For the first two months of the campaign, I'd have gone for Bridcutt, Noone and CMS in that order, but all three of them have not really shown their best since then (bar the occasional glimpse, such as a couple of Noone runs against Barnsley and the CMS strike at Derby).

Since then though, the only players who have played out of their skin have been Greer and Taricco.

I'm hoping the PotS award for 2011/12 will not be another year where a player wins it for being average most of the time, such as the year when Andrew Whing won it. Talking positively, looking back to that time makes you think how far we've actually come along since then.

Greer all day long. Showing class this season but gets stuck right in too. Vincelot has a shout for me has played all over the park and looked like a great signing. Gus' best bit of buisness this year.
