Haven't voted for any of the obvious (Lee, Butters, Pitcher) because none of them actually play regularly.

Gonna get flamed for this but my vote goes to Charlie Oatway. I KNOW he tries hard, and I KNOW he has the club at heart. BUT, he is just so frustrating to watch at times, chasing shadows and playing terrible balls. I want him to do well, I really do, but I just don't think he's up to it. Not even in Div 2.

Agree with Bozza though, I would never unnecssarily berate a player just because he's in the line-up. While they're in the stripes and working hard they will get my full support.

At work - probably
The woman next to me at the games always has a 'favourite hate', two years ago it was Paul Rogers, when he wasn't playing last year it was Kitson - it'll be interesting to see who it is this year.

I love them all!
Yes Butter is fat and useless, but when he pull on a Brighton shirt I give him all the support as I do with the rest of the team.

Safeway, Oatway was terrible last year, but I feel he is an average 2nd division player. So hopefully you'll change your mind when you see that he is really at home playing the likes of Blackpool and Notts County.

Nathan Jones irritates the hell out of me. Haven't seen him yet this season but last year he was the player who made me groan (quietly of course) when he came on as sub. Used to give him an enthusiastic clap when he was substituted.

Yes I know he scored a fantastic goal at Forest, but not much else as I remember.

Hope to be really enthusiastic about him this year and be proved wrong though.

Last season it was Barrett. No composure, head down, couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards & he thought he was Pele. The only time I was pleased to see him was when he was on the bench at Stoke when Rougier was playing like a pub player and almost hit the corner flag with a header from 6 yards. Now if he signed he would be my hate figure.

Without Rouge, It could well be Hinshelwood. His positional sense needs improving and could well cause my blood to boil.

Butters and Lee don't count - Out of sight out of mind.

Useless Welsh T.....

and not just for that tackle the other night..I just think he flatters to decieve and is crap

I voted for Sott McGleish under the "other" category.

I think he's the only player I have REALLY hated

I did enjoy ripping into Paul Ince last April.

Sorry but pulling a blue and white striped shirt makes any player the object of my undying admiration and support................... unbless it happend to be Scot McGleish, in which case

(all together now)

Of those who play regularly, I would have to say paul watson. what a crushing disappointment he was last year yet he retained his place in the team week in week out, through lack of competition.

Hopefully this season it will be back to the watto of old pinging in the accurate crosses and bulging the onion bag with spectacular free-kicks.

Butters even though I've not seen him play. There are only 2 uses for professional athletes that size, prop forward or sumo wrestling.

Some of you are a bit harsh on David Lee. He might have little or no talent but it's not as if we've had a lot of opportunities to see what he can do. He also gets the odd feature in the local rag about wanting to fight for his place and get in the team - unlike Butters who appears to not care less...
