We made a weekend of it. Fantastic city centre and pubs, great weather. On the day I thought Cullip was a god, he won dozens of balls played into their bruisers.

One societal thing we noticed ... it was the first time in pubs where young locals in groups were all staring at their phones, ignoring their mates. A sea change!

I felt sick throughout the whole match, but what a ride that whole season was. Amazing really, given that in the normal season we got 2 points off Swindon and Bristol City (losing heavily away in Bristol IIRC). That's why I love the play-offs, previous form means little, and that came at the Withdean... I was at uni and couldn't make it, but I still hold it was one of my favourite football memories

20 years ago!!!!!

Leon Knight would be excellent in today’s squad as long as his head was in the right place.

Eight of us went in a stretch limo. Not because this is how we roll, but because we worked out that it would be substantially cheaper than the train.

An absolutely brilliant day from start to finish. Loved it.

I went with my late mate, Pete.
He drove and I bought the commemorative shirts (still got mine).
Thanks for the memory - still miss you Pete 🥹
