The really disappointing thing is that the Albion have not made a (visible) effort to put a procedure in place that removes, or at least reduces, the current 'lottery'.

My thoughts exactly. Youy dont need to be Mystic Meg to predict that whatever methods for ticket allocation for the Play offs are used its bound to be a farce.

If you choose to live away from Brighton and hence have made a conscious choice to go to less Brighton matches, that in my book makes you further down the pecking order for priority match tickets.

Using the current number of times individuals have applied but not necessarilt received away tickets is the best indicator of support for the club, outside purchase of a season ticket. The pay on the gate matches are not of sufficient number to exclude those attending pay on the day games as these individuals will have applied for other matches. A play off away allocation will be at least 1700 tickets (Bournemouth) our average away attendance is only circa 1200.

Yes they are.

Every single away game this season (with the possible exception of Bournemouth) has been pay on the gate. And all but two away games last season were pay on the gate.

Season Ticket holders and people who can prove home attendance should get priority end of story. If you dont go to Home games you are not financialy supporting the club in any way unless you buy the odd kit etc.

So what if you go to all the away games, other than vocal support on the day the club benefits in no way from your attendance.

I can see your argument, but if you have followed the team the length and breadth of the country, then you should get priority for the tickets available for the away game of the play offs, simple as, where as for the home game season ticket holders get priority. At the end of the day, the FA can vaguely distribute tickets, within their slightly odd system with some vague idea of loyalty means priority, then the Albion can do it as well, they saw the mistakes from the Grimsby debacle but have done nothing to sort it.

I don't think people will have to worry about not getting a ticket for the final. If we get an allocation of 35,000 thats already 3 times the number of season ticket holders and AMS members.

1) Season ticket holders
2) AMS members
3) General sale

Thats how i would sell our allocation. We shouldn't charge fans an extra £10 to see this game by joining the AMS. But these people should take whatever seats are left over.
