Albarn is a genius in my mind...and this tune is sooooo beautiful. And the line-up features two other heros of mine. What is there not to like?

I mean, who does not dream of Mick Jones and Paul Simonon dressed as sailors?

I love Plastic Beach, even though it is quite a departure from Demon Days and their first album (was it self-titled?). Superfast Jellyfish is a particular favourite.

Damon Albarn is so underated.

The first Blur album was patchy, but every other album he his has released, either, with Blur, Gorillaz, or The Good, the Bad & the Queen are excellent.

For me he is the most talented artist to emerge in the last 20 years.

As I hate hip-hop (and rap), I really didn't like Plastic Beach at first.

But having persevered, I have to confess I now love it, especially 'Melancholy Hill', and the Mark E. Smith track. 'Glitterfreeze'.

Couldn't agree more HT. I was stupidly excited seeing Mick n Paul playing together again and with the boy Albarn at the helm.

Likewise. I'm a big Super Furry fan as well, so chuck them into the mix and it just starts getting quite silly.

One of the best albums of the year. Everyone I speak to have said they have listened to it once and didn't like it which is completely wrong as the more you listen, the more it grows on you. Maybe not as good as Demon Day's yet still QUALITY.

The more you play it the more it grows and the more you hear. I've played it a ton of times and it is only recently I've started to like the Womack song at the end. It kind of washed over me before.
