Plasma TV and Surround Sound

I am looking at purchasing the following two items subject to NSC giving me their approval.

Panasonic TH42PZ85B HD Plasma TV and the Yamaha YSP900 sound projector.

Due to water damage in the house we are having the whole place redecorated so it makes it an ideal time to upgrade our current TV and get it all nicely chased into the wall before the decorators come in.

Therefore, I am seeking the guidance and advice of my learned friends/colleagues on NSC.

Whilst I believe Panasonic (and I have one) on tops with LCD's, Philips and Sony on tops with Plasma's.

There was some postings on here about 6 months ago on the merits of Yahama surround system, perhaps originally posted by Wozza!

I have a Panasonic Th-42Pz700 Plasma, and no word of a fib its picture is miles better than the Sony LCD I had previous..

its an awesome picture, the colours are fantastic blacks are DEAD black and it has 24FPS compatibility as well
