Why are Man Utd in it when they were relegated ?

I think the invites are based on last season. So technically Man Utd and Sunderland would have been invited before we were.

So 8 of last seasons top flight of 12 are in.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City appear have to declined because they are in the UEFA Youth League (even though that's an U19 tournament and this is U23).

Looks like Sunderland also declined.

Blackburn, Villa, Albion & Middlesbrough would have then been invited. Only we accepted so goes down to Reading, Southampton and Norwich who all accepted.

Blimey, l'd love it if there was an adult equivalent and we got to play in it.

Who would be in it? The European clubs that are in this PL2 competition are already in Europe, Europa League at least if not Champions League - and there are dozens of teams most of us have never heard of making up the numbers in the Europa League - so the European teams wouldn't be the likes of Bayern or Benfica, but teams even more obscure than Shkupi or Rabotnicki.
