I can never bring myself to do predictors but I only see 3 wins and 2 or 3 draws from our final league fixtures.

58 or 59 points might be enough for europa league but if we bottle it in the 6 pointers I think we'll finish 8th. Our run in looks very tough and we're bound to hit a run of poorer form.

7th. place? Conference League? Fine by me!

I understand that for financial reasons the club would like the CL, but for me the Conference would be a great (potentially winnable) adventure - and a good platform to build on for yet higher European adventures in the future. And those hardy and highly commendable souls who follow the Albion wherever would still have a few exciting trips to new and exciting places!

Do you remember December?
I do. And it's a fair comment. I just feel the team have moved passed that well. I also feel the bottom of the league is pretty much settled now so a lot of the teams we are due to play won't come and sit in a low block as they had been doing. I expect those games to be more expensive which suits us. A lot of confirmation bias in that assessment I accept.

I hope you're right. However, I don't see teams that got something from us by playing one way changing their approach. The hope is that the motivation to give everything needed for the low block to be effective may have waned. The last seven results in all competitions have been great, but all bar the dreadful Southampton have been against sides currently in the top ten.
