Ridiculous decision if it happens. There is no guarantee we will all have had a double vaccine. Especially the younger generation who are likely to be in attendance en masse.

We have gone this long without Football in Stadiums. Waiting till next season no won't do us any extra harm.

Why not just wait till next season which will give us an extra few months to get everyone vaccinated. If we end up having another upsurge in cases it will not only kill more people but it could put opening Stadiums next year in jeopardy again. So I am against opening Stadiums till next season.

A lot to be said for what you say.

It's very unlikely they will go on later than the current end date of the season due to the proximity of the Euros starting on June 11th.

The plan is either to move game 36 to the following midweek, so in between our games against Man City and Arsenal, or move game 36 to the weekend of 15th and 16th and then have game 37 played midweek 18th/19th.

If game 36 is moved to after our Man City Game then our last Home Game won't be against Man City but West /ham :).
I can see much point in moving Game 36 then Moving Game 37 so fans can be in the stadium? Bit confusing though so I'l wait and see what happens..

Great news,i’m really missing the match day experience.Watching Brighton on tv is so stressful

Glad it’s just not me....I watched the first half of the palace game and couldn’t watch anymore and the West Brom game watched 20 minutes and walked away.

I hate watching us on TV

At least at the amex you can yell and boooooooooo....my wife and the cat gets upset if I do that at home..

Seems ambitious, but the fact it's being mentioned makes me wonder if they've had a half-nod from Dowden, or think they have a viable plan with testing etc...

Away fans would utterly ludicrous. Wait until August FFS.

no really now the old and vulnerable are vaccinated would be fine .. but thats another topic.

Good news its being looked at. Be amazing to get into a game. Never made the ballots before.

If not then August will be like the Amex opening all over again

Hear, hear.

The remainder of the PL and indeed football league season should be played behind closed doors and for my money so should the Euro's (they shouldn't even be going ahead with the current third wave engulfing Europe but that's another story).

‘Carabao Cup final: Man City & Tottenham to have 2,000 fans each at Wembley final’

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City will both have 2,000 fans at Wembley for the Carabao Cup final on 25 April.

But fans under 18 cannot attend, and people who are clinically extremely vulnerable or pregnant have also been told not to apply for tickets.

To get into Wembley, fans must take a lateral flow coronavirus test at a designated site - not at home - in the 24 hours before the game.

And they must bring proof of a negative result, either a text or an email.

Fans who get a ticket must sign a consent form, as the match is part of the government's events research programme, which is assessing how major events can reopen safely to the public as coronavirus restrictions ease.

In addition, fans are being asked if they will take two PCR tests, which are designed to show if someone showing coronavirus symptoms currently has the virus. Both tests should be taken at home, the first before the match, and the second five days afterwards. Fans who get tickets for the final will be told how to apply for the PCR tests, which will be free.

So not being asked to take a pregnancy test :moo:
