The players call him Gibbo. He does all the looking after the players, especially the newcomers.
He arranges accommodation for the incomers, English lessons, and generally shows them the ropes of living in Sussex.

Weirdly had a hunch it was Gibbo but not sure where from - must have seen a video before. Nice they got him in there at the end!

I reckon the vast majority of those who suffered at Withdean are still with us except those who have passed on.

Aside from actually playing for the club, doing a job that helps players settle in the area - from Withdean onwards - must have been a fantastic experience. And he's now befriending world class players at this club!
The amount of crap he has to deal with, at all times of day and night can’t be easy though!
Didn’t he have to help Lualua open a bank account or something

He is seriously challenging Calde
as my all-time favourite Albion player. It will be a very sad day when he decides to move on from the club.
