I'm gonna add my tuppenceworth and offer up a message to all those mouth-breathing Neanderthals who invaded the pitch tonight.

You f***ing twats. Get over yourself about having to invade a pitch to celebrate - we still have two home games left you *****!

Good grief, we've just won promotion of course people are going to run on the pitch! And don't be silly in thinking they'll be a points deduction:facepalm:

Sorry, but Paul Samrah played the jobs worth tonight. Lap of honour? tonight is about the outpouring of many years of hurt coupled with a future of genuine hope for the fans. What would you prefer polite clapping? Do piss off

what is it with some people, i waited till around 1500 ran on the pitch, i then walked with my nine year old son on my shoulders, and you know what he will remember this for the rest of his albion days. I then walked off like many other albion fans back to my seat. Stop f***ing moaning, ive been to 30 odd games this year, ive seen this club have its heart ripped out, if supporters ran on its their way of expressing joy. No one was punched the goal posts were not pulled down, these supporters have suffered like no others...let them enjoy the moment. Bar for my boy i would have stayed in my seat, but good luck to every brighton fan that ran on, how many of the moaners are off to walsall on sat???????

Morons invade the pitch, despite being told the team will not do a lap of honour. Samrah tells us that the team will not do a lap of honour. Many fans like me and the missus then leave the ground. Players and management do a lap of honour.
What the f**k is going on with communication at the club?

Pretty much sums it up.

I couldn't be arsed to go on the pitch, been there done that when it really mattered, but I'd like to say I found the whole thing hilarious.

Samrah going hysterical over the mic telling people to get off as if it's going to happen :lolol:

Then he cancelled the lap of honour and half the crowd left. Then someone must've realised the TV crews that turned up needed something to put on the news tomorrow and the players came back out to a half empty ground :lolol:

It's not the fans fault, if people want to play the jobsworth that's what happens :lolol:

Would agree with this and Samrah should understand this probably more than anyone.

Still, it was good they came out eventually and it looked like they were celebrating large! Great to see Gus come over too!

Many years of hurt? Do me a favour! Brighton fans have never had it so good as at Withdean. Since Hereford, I think we have had some great times.

Well what can i say, fans showing some passion and you moaning is the difference between the decent Albion fans and the bloody moaners...........in fact the first time i have ever seen you post on here and it is your moaning.

What happened? Simple. Mr Hebberd decided that the pitch invasion meant no lap of honour, because the supporters had disobeyed his instructions. Gus and the boys thought "f*** that! We've worked for this moment and we're not going to miss it".

I'm not going to berate the fans for running on the pitch. But what f***ing idiot told Paul Samrah that Gus and the team would not now be coming out and they did when half the crowd had left the stadium. That f***ing jobsworth spoilt a great night. :(

There is no better pitch invasion than when someone in an electric wheelchair goes for it !
