One man and his love of marmalade, isn't it?

For me 'If' remains my all-time favourite Floyd tune. They've written some powerful lyrics over their career - none greater in my eyes than 'Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war...." but the line "If I go insane, will you still let me join in with your games?" comes a close second. And Wright's organ-playing in the first track never fails to give me goosebumps.

The opening lines of Free Four on Obscured by Clouds have always stuck with me

"The memories of a man in his old age are the deeds of a man in his prime"

Floyd really did have some killer lyrics on the albums before Waters left.

Was that the Crystal Palace bowl gig with the Faces in support?

My father saw Pink Floyd support Jimi Hendrix at The Dome in Brighton in the 60s. What an insane double-bill.

I must admit I have not bothered with Floyd for a long long time but for some reason I'm drawn to this album, mainly from a review I read. I'll have to buy the gatefold though, I'll let you know how I get on.
