Pink Floyd Reunite at Roger Waters Show in London

I've always thought it a shame that the band never really played together again. Gilmour has never appeared keen on the idea and whilst Live 8 was really good, I think Roger Barrett's death in 2006 finished it off for him. Whilst they kept in touch with Syd, all four seem to have always felt a tad guilty about his departure from the band and consequent ill-health.

even after syds departure, the band continued to send royalties to him even on albums made after syd going.

PINK FLOYD - greatest band ever!

I'm going next Friday. Having been to the original show in 1981 it will be interesting to see how it compares. Unfortunately the original T shirt doesn't fit.

Gilmour did say he would join on stage for one of the shows, but don't think they announced which one. Get it while it's hot peeps - doubt Waters will tour The Wall again, so last chance to see ...

Confirmation of Gilmour's appearance hit the web hours before the reunion on Gilmour's official fan blog. "I should also remind you that tonight is most definitely a one-off," the blog notes. "David is not repeating his special guest performance at a later occasion, I’m sorry to disappoint those of you with fingers crossed and tickets for later shows."

Went to the original Earls Court show and the waters one in Berlin and wanted to go to this , but could'nt afford it and then thought , can't be as good as the original show.
Then I saw Gilmour's appearance on the BBC this morning . Bloody Hell !!!!! Waters as taken the show and the graphics to a whole new level .
Really really want to go now .:annoyed:
