I think the lad (Walton?) in the Dev squad, might step up to reserve for match days, and we say goodbye to Brez and/or Ankergren. Pig should stay, he wants to get back to the Prem, if we don't sneak up this year there will be limited options for him, to move to another Championship club that has a better chance than us, and needs a keeper, or a side in the Prem that has need of a first choice keeper.
As long as the contract offer is not insulting or short, I don't think he will be looking around too much.

Really the bloke absolutely leathered it ! Back of the goal came about 2 ft off the ground. Your not falling for the keeper should never get beaten at the near post cliche?

There is a reason why cliches exist.

The ball was well hit, but it really was quite close to him. He hadn't left a big gap at the near post - just a small area that he knew he could cover. The ball went OVER his hand - ie it wasn't hit so hard that he wasn't able to get across to it. It was certainly not a shocking mistake, but a misjudgement for sure. Like I've already said - HE will absolutely feel that he should have stopped it.

He had a good game otherwise though, and was definitely in credit over-all.

This is where the club should come under some criticism have they not learn't from our past.
I don't buy into lets see what league we are in at the of the season or that they are focusing their attention's on a play off push first.
Oscar (head coach) and Burke (head of football operations) both have different jobs moving this club forward.

Do we have the ability to offer him terms he could not afford the refuse? I doubt it. He holds the aces. He would be a fool to sign for us now when there are likely to be plenty of suitors.

We need to make an offer. An offer we see as reasonable (some leeway to improve it) AND MAKE IT NOW, not wait until the last minute, and he ****s off without us even competing for his signature. We are, at this time, in the box seat. We won't necessarily be in that seat at the end of the season.

But that seems unlikely...the club seem to have a policy ...Bruno and Orlandi have commented on it recently....and yet wasn't Ince due to be out of contract at the end of the season and offered or deal...or were his circumstances different

You are correct. For the right player and, IMHO, TK is one of those, the club seem to break their more general 'wait until end of season' policy.

Credit where it is due. TK was truly excellent last night. Dealt with every shot on goal pretty well, but was particularly COMMANDING in coming out for high balls.

More of this please, Tomasz. :clap2:
