When you feel all is lost in the world. I suggest you do as I have done.

For no apparent reason I'm watching Aussie Rules Football and the sheer number of mullets on display is oddly reassuring.

Australia - #TheLandThatTimeForgot.

Oh and for the aficionados despite seemingly giving Collingwood Magpies the runaround Western Bulldogs are losing by 2.

So THAT'S how you get to clock up 48,000 posts! I'm currently listening to 6music, but assumed no-one would be interested.

Of course they wouldn't, no mullets.

Plus no classic commentary either:-

'I'll tell you cobber the next goal will win this game".
There were 6 subsequent goals.

"That pass was pure genius... ...or a bit iffy, we need another look"..

It took me ages to realise they were shouting "mine". All that time I was thinking who the bloody hell is Mike :lolol:
When I first saw the movie I thought it was 'mate, mate, mate'

T'is a shame nobody wants to play in the Aussie Rules thread.

I was hoping someone would be engaged enough to answer a question from the Chl 4 days.
If this has prompted some fond memories of proper sporting violence, please say hello, and also tell me who was the little fella with really long black hair, I reckon his surname began with a P and he might have warn an orange/gold kit.

Absolute looney.

Is the question to do with the actual game or channel 4?

John Platten sounds like the guy you're taking about.

Losing by 2 what though? Mullets, punch ups, or by kicking through or over or between all them goalposts?

I remember Gary Ablett Snr in the 90's played for Geelong having a mental Charlton Combover/Rab C Nesbitt mullet combo.

Looney game. Reminds me of 'murderball' at school.

Yeah Platten sounds familiar, might have to do some Youtubing tonight to take my mind off other stuff.
