Instead of looking at the prices worry about the meat content. If its good quality meat there should no complaints.

Ever wondered why burgers, kebabs are so cheap, the meat is rubbish, you don't know where it comes from, and it's bad for your health.

Just don't eat them. I haven't since about half way through last season, the hype on here about them is totally OTT, it's just a pie FFS, average at best and way overpriced.

but i bet you drink the warm plastic 275mm bottle of fosters at £3.50..............such a bargin.

The bottled Fosters - generally cold enough in my experience - has it's place. Get a quick one in to drink while queuing for the main kiosks !!

I realise the OP is tongue in cheek so I'm not directly responding to that when I write this, BUT

It's amazing (and quite brilliant) that it's only taken a short space of time for some of the stadiums BRILLIANCE to become 'the norm'.

I forget just HOW GOOD our pies are until I set foot somewhere else and have a soggy pukka pie cooked to point at which the gravy resembles molten LAVA. As my chomps SQUIDGE through it's moist exterior, not a flake in sight, and is greated by a chunk of 'meat' so small that even The Borrowers would struggle to split between them as a starter, I can only DREAM of being back at The Amex and biting down, through the bristled exterior of our fine £3.90 pie.

This isn't just a Pie.
This is an American Express pie.

to be honest, I drink the fosters as well, my point was comparing the hot tasty deep filled pie with a plastic bottle of warm fosters for similar money................the pie will win every time!

Nope, I drink the Fosters at the pumps for £3.90 - 10% (£3.51) which is roughly 5p more expensive than my local, not bad at all.
