He's chosen his viewpoint on this and in the current climate he wont be allowed to have free speech.

Its what we've become unfortunately.

Piers Morgan could, and did, say whatever he wanted. The private company who employ him and whose show it is decided on this he was out of order. The private company decided to no longer employ him. Piers Morgan said when he was doorstepped this morning that he still thought Meghan was lying.

Which part of that is related to 'he won't be allowed to have free speech'?

Always found him quite entertaining, myself.
If you can overlook him being a **** (he’s not the only one in the public eye) , he’s good telly.

You missed trying to have a journalist beaten up as well

Missed loads, also cannot answer, to what is very easy to most people, a very simple question....how many children do you have....?

"well, er, mumble,I I I I I, you know, er, I I I I, mumble, mumble..."

Good old Boris....

Sounds like you need to grow a pair of bollocks.

As far as I can see, the younger generation have every right to be upset with boomers. You benefitted from cheap housing, bullet proof pensions, free higher education and EU membership, and now not only do they have none of those things but boomers in general have actively voted to ensure that was the case. Meanwhile, boomers don't feel obliged to make the case for why what they've voted for is the right thing.

What a pile of snivelling drivel, quite astonishing!

And those same boomers who have benefitted in all the ways you highlight, say they should all have free tv licences.
Give them to the financially-disadvantaged young, I say

This, his freedom of speech that he has access to includes a column in the Mail, and his prolific use of twitter.

And, in all likelihood, a show onGBTV, when it’s up and running.
The problem is, theres too much Piers Morgan, not there’s a lack of Piers Morgan.

Er, no.

73% of under 24s voted to stay in the EU: https://fullfact.org/europe/how-did-young-people-vote-brexit-referendum/
61% of over 65s voted leave: https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/b...rs-defeated-millennials-historic-vote-n598481 Although these people tended to be people who weren't old enough to actually fight in WW2.

House price to earnings ratio has rocketed over the past 50 years: https://www.economicshelp.org/blog/5568/housing/uk-house-price-affordability/
If you look at the spreadsheets on the office of national stats site, you can see this in further detail: https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...cebasedearningslowerquartileandmedian/current

Final salary pensions almost completely wiped out. No need to link that one, unless you're too stupid to disagree - which wouldn't surprise me in your case.

Same goes for free higher education. The Tories implemented that a couple of decades ago. Tories tend not to rely on the votes of under 24's to gain power.

So which bit is "snivelling drivel" then, you tedious Daily Mail mouthpiece clown? I'm not saying every boomer is a sort of Farage-lite like you, I'm saying that people like this have actively voted to dismantle all these benefits now that they've benefitted from them because it's f**king TRUE.

Is in the dictionary!.

you’ve just had a “lightbulb” moment because you’ve looked up, and found the meaning of a word, in a dictionary?

Excellent work.

Anyone else find it odd Meghan has her life story poured over, doubts casts on her interpretation of events, and a complete character assasination ensued mainly perpetuated by the right wing media yet Boris Johnson, a serial adulterist (whilst one had cancer) lies blatently on a daily basis and every wednesday in parliament, lied to the queen, misled parliament, broke international law ( I could go on) yet he's a stand up bloke and should have our full admiration ?

Not a royalist or a fan of Meg and Harry necessarily but THIS.

What a ridiculous comment. Just another attempt to conflate free speech with speech free from consequences.

And now we've had a year where the young have put their lives completely on hold ... their education and their prospects suffer, their dreams on hold, to prolong the lives of the elderly.

This was the right thing to do of course, but the baby boomer generation need to show some serious humility and serious willingness to open their wallets to pay for the incalculable damage done. Also to express some willingness to be a bit less selfish in the ballot box in the future.

I'm not hopeful

Just because you dont like what people voted for isn't going to change a thing deal with life and move on from the Brexit result ! This is about Piers Morgan who sloped off on holiday while the country was in lockdown
