Did anyone else see somebody going berserk at one of the food stalls in the West Lower before the game? He appeared to have dissected the contents of his pie on the counter and was shouting at the supervisor they have had 2 years to get this right etc and was demanding his money back.

I lost my first game of pie roulette, bought a steak pie, got a chicken pie. It was made up for later though when we were given a couple of freebies as they were packing up and they were going in the bin otherwise. Have to say, despite it being half an hour after the final whistle it was just the right amount of crunchy, it was perfectly hot, and tasted lovely.

Got one of the last Balti pies in the East Stand around 25 mins before kick off. Overcooked and generally rancid. How hard can it be to cook a pie and keep it in an environment where the pastry won't end up being as dry as the Sahara?

A sort of pie nirvana.

I certainly haven't helped matters. I steamed into a pie early on.

It had a moist bottom, but my co-pie nosher had a soggy bottom which is always a bit of a let down.

#PIESCANDAL

I had a really great pie, one of the best ever at the amex, and I even had a crusty bottom.

What even when the ground is full and the world and his mother is trying to get a 3G signal? If so, I'm buying a 3 Sim!!
I'm on 3 and I'm always able to get a signal to look up the scores at half time. It isn't quick but it works. But I normally just look at the screens inside the concourse.

To be honest it was one of the best steak and ale pies I've ever had at the Amex, WSL did appear to have a few teething problems but it was worth the wait.

I got some sausage rolls from Tesco before the match and took them with me. The money I saved over buying stadium pies paid for my taxi home from the station.
