One of my favourite pubs and they keep a cracking cellar: The Vine in Tarring Village, Worthing

I had my first ever pint of Summer Lightning there.

The Hungry Monk at Jevington - with the "Birthplace of the Banoffee Pie" blue plaque on the wall.

My first ever Girlfriends sister used to work there, she wrote a few cook books, "Hungry Monk at Work" amongst others, and she used to cook the famous Banoffee pie, it was great when we were invited round for dinner. She also gave us the original recipe many years ago, Campbells Condensed Milk is the essential ingredient dontcha know?

(Oddly enough, Superwife was great friends at school with said first girlfriends sister)

A fine establishment, and a great beer festival in the summer. Sadly it's gone a bit off lately, I blame the Hall & Woodhouse influence. Stops them getting in any/many guest ales any more

I bought my first home (a flat on London Road) purely because it was close to this pub. Superb pint of HSB I recall.

It's the Three Moles at Selham.

I know the Hollybush at Denford. We had a splendid lunch there while doing the Llangollen Canal. An experience only slightly marred by rising floodwaters.
