I didn't really notice any, there may have been a few though.

That looks about right to me, i wish i had seen it before because i spent most of the game thinking which ones Baz which ones Battipiedi etc

The lads sounded like they played a blinder on the (Sunderland) radio commentry.

However i will say that we were By far the better team, Kishshev owned Sunderland in my opinion, they only started getting forward once he went off, Nav and Sparrow also looked good along side him. Murray looked mean, lean and hungry which bodes well for the season. As i said before Bennett caused their defence no end of problems and Greer and Elphick looked Solid as a rock.

I was chatting to a few Sunderland fans who were very complimentary about our play and couldn't believe we finished 13th in league one last season.

One of them even shouted out "the premier league team are playing in blue"

What a shithole of a "stadium", it makes the Withdean look almost acceptable

The Stadiums not great but the atmosphere was probably better than Withdean. The weather is fantastic and being able to have a beer while you watch the game and have a bit of friendly banter with the Mackems made all the differenced.

What were the bars like before and after the game, did all Brighton fans congregate in the same bars ?

everyone seamed a bit spread out tbh, which is a shame, if anyone else out here is reading this perhaps you could recommend somewhere to meet up before the game on Saturday, i was in the Vegas cafe/bar before kick off with a few Mackems, there was a few Brighton in the bar opposite but everyone is too bloody chilled! lol fancy being chilled out on holiday haha.

I would recommend somewhere but it's in Vilamoura (about 15 mins down the road).

Yes Greer was captain and it was a loose 451/442 as Barnes played on the left wing so pushed up when he could, i would say most of our best play came down the right with Bennett.

Yeah met up with Chris and Carole last night but they are staying about an hours drive from here. Hopefully see them again on Saturday!
