Has anyone seen the Divine film 'Pink Flamingoes' where the dog lays a sloppy steaming lump and Divine scoops this pile of what is very liquidy crap up and eats it, no camera trickery and all done in one take. A screen moment like no other before or since.

Two more spaniels

Jenny - overweight completely spoiled blue roan cocker
Jake - liver and white working springer, completely tireless, relentless chaser of our cats and anything else that moves.

Back to the original question. Yes it is much easier picking up your own dogs' poo. My good lady will never pick up anyone else's dog's poo.

Cat poo is way worse than dog's and Jake finally seems to have grown out of the habit of eating it. Most of our cats poo in other people's gardens, except Jake (the cat, not the springer).

Nappy sacks are just fine, except if they've had too much chocolate, though somteimes one is just not enough when you have a Newfoundland. He's called Lewis, it was either that or Lennox.

Bottom rubbing needn't be worms. Jenny, like many cockers, suffers from blocked anal glands and needs to be 'cleaned out' on a regular basis. I always pay the vet to do it......

There is this bloke who turns up in an expensive car, parks outside in our street, lets his dogs out to piss and sh*t in the road (picks up the sh*t), gets the dogs back in the car then drives off.

It's being going on for a few years. I been wanting to have a word with him about it, but I've not exactly made my mind up where to start.

Maybe something along the lines of "by all means don't piss on your own doorstep, but just make sure it's not mine.."

They arent supposed to eat chocolate but how can you deny them when they sit there looking at you with puppy dog eyes? :lolol:

My big dog goes bananas for cheese for some reason, loves it and will do anything for it!

My dogs have both been very discrete about their toilet habits. The Border Collie(or 'Aussie' as some call them) was super-smart, but def. preferred a nice private spot among the trees and plants - and sometimes buried it afterwards!

The lab/whippet also tends to pick some dark corner where nobody walks, and when I'm not paying her much attention or watching her.

I encourage her to chase squirrels and cats, just like my last dog - who used to actually climb trees in pursuit. If there were kids around I'd pretend there was a squirrel up a tree just to amaze them.
