I'm too lazy to do it, but could someone just type out all of the Albion players for me so a few other people can quote it and say "This".

Some excellent shouts in there.

Im kind of disgusted that I left out Will Buckley as, frankly, he has been PHENOMENAL at points.

My logic with that team is that they are a bunch of players who would take an opportunity.

Phillips, Lambert, Nolan, Vicente, Lallana all take their chances when presented to them.

At one point I almost wrote out 6 leicester players. This just SHOWS how much theyve under-achieved.

I HATE to say this....but I would have to go for Adkins with Gus a VERY close second.

Both managers have achieved something special this season.

I only say Mckay Because of the crap start to season cardiff had. He turned it around and got them to the final of the legue cup in a game they should have won. To do all that and still be in with a shout of promotion is pretty good going. Adkins would never get my vote because he is a c***. Having said that he's done ok

Interesting that as someone who isn't a Brighton fan, you don't include a single one of our players in the squad, despite the fact we're fourth. I reckon a lot of other opposition fans would say the same.

The same seemed to happen in League One last year, despite the fact we ran away with the league. The argument then was that we didn't have individually the best players, but the best team.

Is it the same this year? Arguably we have had more stand-out players this year in Buckley, Vicente, Greer and Bridcutt. Or maybe it's just because most of our players are relatively unknown and seem to slip under the radar.

I would say this is probably true yet again. You have a bit more quality this year in Buckley and Vicente, however Vicente has hardly played, so you can't judge him and Buckley isn't in the top 5 wingers imo. Lallana and Matt Phillips have been the stand out wide men so far this season. In the center of the park, although he is a good player, Bridcutt isn't at the same level of Schneiderlin, Whittingham, Liegertwood, Mutch, Noble... and Greer I doubt would be in the top 10 CB's.

According to the Actim stats we have the best CF, best LM, Best LB, second best RB and second best GK. As well as 11 of the top 100 ranked players, followed by Readings 10. Brighton have 3. This obviously isn't a perfect representation, but the fact that we have our whole starting 11 in their must count for something?

As we found out last year, we had by far the best individuals, but we weren't a good team until about Adkins' 4/5th game which is when we started to tick and progress up the league. Look at leicester this year, great individuals but they're not a good team. Having a strong team will always mean you're in contention.

Apart from Greer and possibly Bridcutt, the only Albion players who could claim to be among the best in their position haven't played enough football to warrant being named in a Championship XI - or the official FL one, at least. It's a shame, but even if we finish 4th I'll be mightily surprised if any make it in.
