Don't give a monkeys. Haven't been to an England game in years but:
Tickets are too expensive, performance always poor, naff atmosphere, better things to do with my money, washing my hair, 'Flog it' is on the tele.

And I'm going to Brighton v Millwall the night before!

I got England tickets for £30, the view is good and the atmosphere at the new Wembley is better than at the withdean - honest.

I go to the Albion and tickets cost £24.50 so £5.50 difference and the standard at Wembley is slightly better than at withdean on the odd occasion.

Also do people not recall how bad James was? If dropping Robbo is the answer at least drop him for someone who made more errors and will be around in four years.

I'd play James ahead of Carson or Robinson and Cole instead of Shorey. Nicky Shorey doesn't look international class any more than Stuart Downing, IMO.

An in-form Heskey is the perfect foil for Andy Johnson. But you can perm and two from about seven for these positions - they're all shit at the mo.

James
Richards, Terry, Ferdinand, A Cole
Young, Hargreaves, Gerrard, J Cole
Heskey, Johnson

Enjoy your day out then and hope you're not dissappointed?
I just prefer to spend my football budget locally.

PS How will you get to Wembley? Are there travel vouchers, decent park and ride arrangements etc? Just curious like; I remember getting to and from the old stadium being a complete pain by either public transport or, particularly, by car.

I expect that Israel putting 10 men behind the ball will make for a frustrating afternoon unless we score early on.

Living in Hastings I always have to travel an hour each way for any Albion game, even Gillingham away.

For England Wembley games we drive to Orpington and then get a £7.70 travel card, stopping off at the moon in the mall for a pint or 6. Getting out after the german game took under an hour from seat to getting on the tube - so it is a drag but thats football.

Micah Richards
John Terry
Rio Ferdinand (Would have been Sol Campbell but he's now crocked)
Ashley Cole

Shaun Wright-Phillips
Steven Gerrard (If not fit then Gareth Barry)
Owen Hargreaves
Joe Cole
Emile Heskey :)bowdown:)
Micheal Owen

Micah Richards HAS to play and to be fair to Heskey, he's done pretty well for Wigan over the past year and Owen should know his game.

We'll be OK

The problem we had away to Israel was a negative formation and that played into the hands of Isreal. We need to attack from the start. We really do need 2 wins from these two games as the last 2 games (Russia away and Croatia at home are the 2 more difficult ones. I would hope that we would beat Estonia at home just before the trip to Moscow.
